Any B26 sightings around Brooklyn? Around where I live in south Brooklyn LTE is so saturated that b25 goes indoors fairly well.
-
No, they have been switching on AWS for almost a year now...nothing new, just marketing jargon, also, most of the locations they mention are not fully deployed by a long shot....
So basically, nothing special..
Actually i just read this was stuff they purchased back in 2012. So they have been working on it for two years. Nvm that back to sprint discussion.

So I see that verizon just flipped the switch on xlte. In 44 states.... Just like that. I have a feeling sprint will never catch up

Sorry I asked the question wrong. I mean did it receive the spark update?

Is the nexus 5 triband?
-
Well I'm back to my iphone 5. Atleast now I have an idea how a triband iphone would perform.

Hopefully b26 gets deployed quickly. Should be faster then b25.

hopefully that improves indoor coverageThey're like little cellular networks that are built that add capacity and boost coverage in a given area. I'm pretty sure MetroPCS is the only carrier that is currently using them in NYC. Sprint plans on small cell deployment starting this year.
It's amazing that for such a small carrier they were pretty far ahead in terms of technology. They had small cells and VoLTE before any of the other carriers.

What ddoes Sprint means when they say small cell deployment ?

Hey all. OK so today I tested my lg g2 around city hall. City hall is mostly covered in b41. Speeds are anywhere from 15mb to 50mb. Previously on my iPhone 5 I didn't even get any lte. Which I think means only b41 is around city hall. Indoor is a hit or miss. In my office I get 4 bars. Other places it's back to 3g. Band 26 is needed badly. One thing I noticed is the band switching is terrible. I think this is an LG g2 problem. I can literally be out of service for 3 min while it switches bands.

I'm trying out an lg g2.Which device?

At work inside. Cithall NYC I'm getting 50 down

Ehh was at a lounge in Brooklyn for a birthday. Full LTE outside but once we went downstairs it was one bar of 3G. My friends iPhone on AT&T had 4 bars of LTE. was jealous..

in your experience how's is band 41 indoors? 2.5ghz seems highIt's 1700/2100. 2100 for the downlink and 1700 for the uplink so the network has the penetration op 2100MHz, which is worse than PCS.
-
Tmobile also uses a high frequency of 1700

Hey all first post here . What do you think about the potential merger between tmobile and sprint? If they merge how are the towers going to be combined?

I feel like sprint is halting b25 and just focusing on b41. Why would cityhall be basically %100 spark but barley any b25. Basically none.
