  1. No, they have been switching on AWS for almost a year now...nothing new, just marketing jargon, also, most of the locations they mention are not fully deployed by a long shot....

     So basically, nothing special..

Actually i just read this was stuff they purchased back in 2012. So they have been working on it for two years. Nvm that back to sprint discussion.

  2. They're like little cellular networks that are built that add capacity and boost coverage in a given area. I'm pretty sure MetroPCS is the only carrier that is currently using them in NYC. Sprint plans on small cell deployment starting this year.

It's amazing that for such a small carrier they were pretty far ahead in terms of technology. They had small cells and VoLTE before any of the other carriers.

    hopefully that improves indoor coverage
  3. Hey all. OK so today I tested my lg g2 around city hall. City hall is mostly covered in b41. Speeds are anywhere from 15mb to 50mb. Previously on my iPhone 5 I didn't even get any lte. Which I think means only b41 is around city hall. Indoor is a hit or miss. In my office I get 4 bars. Other places it's back to 3g. Band 26 is needed badly. One thing I noticed is the band switching is terrible. I think this is an LG g2 problem. I can literally be out of service for 3 min while it switches bands.
