LTE is amazing , I had it all day yesterday I was so disappointed when I got home bc I was out of Signal Range & I didn't have it anymore .
This is a block away from my house. I get so mad because as soon as I turn the corner, it disappears.

Did you root your phone to get it to say 1x? I know on every 4G phone that's been released, it says 3G. I know technically it is 3G but still, I'd like to know.

When is Rockaway Park getting any kind of update? I visit friends here and I'm always roaming in most parts of the area.
That's because there is literally only like 3 towers in that area. When I get a signal it is usually great, but the further east I go, I start to roam on Verizon.

Sprint plans to offer the HTC One as the newest amazing addition to the HTC family. With its live home screen, superior camera, sleek design and heart-pounding sound, the One is ready to reshape your smartphone experience.
Revolutionize your photo album with a single shutter click. Transform the way you hear music with dual front speakers and a built-in amp. Stream all your favorite content live to your home screen. If you liked the EVO, the One has arrived. Pair it with the power of Sprint's Truly UnlimitedSM data plans, all while on the Sprint network, and experience the latest in high-tech.
Is this indicative of Sprint maybe not introducing an EVO this year?

so i'm confused will htc take my old evo 4G as a trade in for $100? even if the tool says it's worth $0. I would easily sell my 4G LTE for $112 to gazelle and buy the ONE for basically free....if the antenna was better than my 4G LTE. I have LTE in my area and sometimes good connection, gf has great LTE with her iphone 5 on sprint. Also I bought my 4G LTE on amazon last june and somehow it never extended my contract so I am due for an upgrade, gf already did it with her 4G LTE to iphone 5. I sure hope the antenna is better and the battery is comparable. Also just dreaming here but it would be nice if the HTC logo was really a capacitive button that someone could enable later.
What's weird is that, in numerous hands-on videos people have tapped it and it would go back home. Maybe they made the home button's response area go into part of the HTC logo so people can get used to it. Or maybe it's just the way that the camera is positioned.

It's really buggy in that it will "black screen" quite a lot. And there are a lot of non-working apps, so you will click them and they won't do anything or they'll just show a picture of what the app will look like.

I was in my SAT class when I picked up a -75dbm LTE signal. I ran RootMetrics and got an average of 12Mbps down and 7Mbps up. I never lost the signal indoors either. It told me that in the 5 minutes of the speed test/signal checker, I had used 225MB of my data. The speeds were even better outside, hitting 20Mbps at times.

Before I got my Galaxy S III, WiMAX was slower than 3G more often than not. I wonder how it's doing now.
My WiMax was always fast, around 15Mbps all day. In my home, I did not get it unless I stood by the window in which case, on 1 bar I would get around 10Mbps.

If so, maybe they'll finish there and then start in the Bronx again to do a "second wave" of upgrades
Whoa, Chicago is 89% complete? That place is a LTE hot zone.
Remember its just sites that have Network Vision upgrades, not necessarily LTE.

1700 is AWS. What I mean is that they meant to type 1700 but accidentally forgot the 1 and typed 700
My point is, it's a given that AWS includes 1700Mhz along with 2100Mhz. Wouldn't it be a tad bit redundant that it would say 1700 and AWS?
-
That's most likely a typo. The T-Mobile LTE is 1700 so they missed the 1
They mentioned AWS though.

http://www.androidce...dio-frequencies
LTE
AT&T: 700/850/AWS/1900 MHz
T-Mobile: 700/AWS MHz
Sprint: 1900 MHz
I was really hoping the new line of phones would support Sprint's 800 for LTE
I'm confused, will each carrier get a specific model or will there be different models for each carrier. Overseas, there are companies using 2600Mhz LTE, so i'd think that if those are being supported with other carriers, it would also work here.
Another point, LTE 700 on T-Mobile and 1900 on AT&T?
-
The HTC One is supposed to be a world phone that works in over 80 countries. Could suport for 2600Mhz or 800Mhz be included in that device. If so I know that'll be my next phone.

i love the comments lol. i do agree with some people saying its too late.... too slow to be lte speed....... other countries have lte all over the place including subway, tunnels etc etc.
He was in Hong Kong, which is super tiny compared to the whole United States! I'm sure that a carrier could cover New York City inside and out had it only had to worry about the city!

If it comes with LTE 800/2600 support, considering it is a world phone thatis supposed to be one over 100 carriers in 80 countriesi, I will be selling my current EVO for that phone. The camera takes excellent low light photos without flash. Yet people are still hugging out about no removable battery and no SD card slot.

People cnt seem to tell if there is a Snapdragon 600 or an S4 Pro in the phone.

Don't forget about the boogie down
Thought it was kind of a given because the Bronx has pretty much been covered with LTE for months now. Not that it is super reliable.

Sprint is really expanding , I just found out that Sprint LTE is available in New Orleans (excuse me if im late on that news) & San Francisco , I know the San Francisco Market has just been launched im not sure about New Orleans tho .
And apparently Sprint made an announcement that New York is in pre launch phase and currently neo tested. If you look at the Sensorly app, a lot of Brooklyn has been covered as well as a large portion of Queens and just under half of Manhattan.
-
I would be sad if I lived in Staten Island. Every borough is moving along with LTE but theirs.

I don't think LTE will work inside your house even if u had a strong signal. I get LTE a very strong signal outside on my steps, but as soon as I walk in my house, the signal is nonexistent.
That's because site density is not good enough. I am sure it was that way when Evdo first came out on Sprint. As more towers cone online you'll have a stronger signal, especially if the tower you are connected to for 3G is the same as the one you connect to for 4G.
-
Kind of mad right now. I walk 5 blocks north, south, or east and I pick up a weak LTE signal but as soon as I get home, I lose the signal. It is at -124dbm when I reach the block my home is on and then it drops.

The remaining posts do not paint the picture. It is the removed posts. We even had to ban a member for his comments. I don't appreciate it.
