  1. The agreement is reciprocal.
Verizon non-CDMA devices roam on T-Mobile WCDMA/HSPA when they fall off Verizon LTE. I don't believe Verizon devices roam on T-Mobile LTE, though - at least not yet.
With all of vzws coverage why would they need roaming?

  2. One thing that I've learned over the weekend is that T-Mobile devices in will roam on Verizon LTE when they leave native coverage. It's a really interesting choice given that Sprint chose to roam on AT&T LTE as opposed to Verizon.
Part of me thinks that the reason why they chose Verizon over AT&T is that the coverage gap between AT&T and T-Mobile is a lot smaller than the coverage gap between Verizon and T-Mobile.
Odd. Any pic of them roaming onto vzw?

  3. Hopefully.  VZW still seems to be betting them in overall data performance.  Seems like with the Sprint merger they are now on an even playing field default_tongue.png.

I expect VZW to walk away with 40MHz in all the top pops in Auction 105, I wonder if TMobile has any plans to buy or use unlicensed.  Seems like it would be better to use that than 5GHz.

Most likely. I did find a tower in my area using 60 MHz of it.

I hear you. It's unimpressive to say the least. Also the fact that Sprint had such a solid deployment here in NY does not help TMobile's case. The thing that scares me the most is what will happen once everybody heads back to work in the city.

TMobile's hodgepodge spectrum deployment is messy and super inconsistent. I was hitting 2mb-100mbs with very few folks walking the streets. And n71 was very sparse. I will give them till the end of the summer, if they don't show real improvement I will just switch to ATT.

I'm new York you would be better off with Verizon over at&t. Vzw has 20x20 on both 66 and 2. Att is all 10x10 on each band..att B2 is 10x10+5x5. TMO will be able to go from 10x10 B2 to 20x20 when they can use sprints spectrum.

  5. I figured New T-Mobile was sandbagging us with the 600 mbps download estimation. Don’t get me wrong, that’s plenty of speed as most fiber optic WiFi speeds are between 200-500 mbps. Just thought N41 could potentially average 800+ mbps download with full 5G capacity.

It could do gigabit with this right backhaul. I heard SoftBank say 30 gigabit with 160 MHz or so of spectrum.

  6. Any idea if N41 will ever be able to top 600 mbps download a year from now or when New T-Mobile finishes their buildout? Only asking as I have come close to topping 300 mbps download on my former iPhone 8 Plus and current iPhone 11 Pro Max with B41.

Yes. 5G can handle couple million devices vs couple 1000 on LTE

  7. Here's all 3 B2 carriers showing around me. EARFCN 1125 is the 3rd carrier I should see soon on my home site. Its the old B2 HSPA 5x5 block and it only goes live on LTE after a site has been upgraded.

Technically AWS has 3 carriers here also with the 2 AWS-1 carriers and J block AWS-3. fc6c5eda1e1039e5bac033b313b688c8.jpg

If you have 3 carriers for B2 hopefully your area gets a spectrum swap
