Bands 2/25,66/4,12 and some of 71 will stay on LTE for a while. They might use DSS for other bands but don't know when.Does T-Mobile plan on integrating the 2 LTE networks or are they going to move all Sprint subs to 5G and repurpose Sprints bands for 5G afterwards?

With all of vzws coverage why would they need roaming? The agreement is reciprocal.
Verizon non-CDMA devices roam on T-Mobile WCDMA/HSPA when they fall off Verizon LTE. I don't believe Verizon devices roam on T-Mobile LTE, though - at least not yet.

Odd. Any pic of them roaming onto vzw?One thing that I've learned over the weekend is that T-Mobile devices in will roam on Verizon LTE when they leave native coverage. It's a really interesting choice given that Sprint chose to roam on AT&T LTE as opposed to Verizon.
Part of me thinks that the reason why they chose Verizon over AT&T is that the coverage gap between AT&T and T-Mobile is a lot smaller than the coverage gap between Verizon and T-Mobile.

Could be B25+41 CA. That is Thing

Most likely. I did find a tower in my area using 60 MHz of it.Hopefully. VZW still seems to be betting them in overall data performance. Seems like with the Sprint merger they are now on an even playing field .I expect VZW to walk away with 40MHz in all the top pops in Auction 105, I wonder if TMobile has any plans to buy or use unlicensed. Seems like it would be better to use that than 5GHz.

Good site density?Well see how this plays out, but to be honest with you Sprint was probably one of the best option(s) here in NY.

I hear you. It's unimpressive to say the least. Also the fact that Sprint had such a solid deployment here in NY does not help TMobile's case. The thing that scares me the most is what will happen once everybody heads back to work in the city.
TMobile's hodgepodge spectrum deployment is messy and super inconsistent. I was hitting 2mb-100mbs with very few folks walking the streets. And n71 was very sparse. I will give them till the end of the summer, if they don't show real improvement I will just switch to ATT.
I'm new York you would be better off with Verizon over at&t. Vzw has 20x20 on both 66 and 2. Att is all 10x10 on each band..att B2 is 10x10+5x5. TMO will be able to go from 10x10 B2 to 20x20 when they can use sprints spectrum.

I'm not surprisedAccording to this article, that also used B46 to achieve that high speed (along with N41 and B66).

TMobile still has work to do. They are number one in market share where I live but still need more towers. As of now I don't plan to use them until it improves.

Just incase you guys haven't seen this Reddit post. N41 is now 60 MHz up from 40

8615 is 15x15 not 5x5Can't get those speeds with 5x5 Band 25 even with 4x4MIMO and 256QAM. You're definitely connected to more than just that.

That doesn't have anything too do with what I askedSprint is dead. Long live T-Mobile!!
( now depending how my local conversion goes in future years I still could switch carriers but that is a story for a future time).

Is TMO even doing B25 yet?Seems T-Mobile uncapped the u/l on B25. I have never encountered this level of u/l speeds on any band.
5Mhz B25 (256QAM, 4x4 MIMO maybe?)
D/L: EARFCN: 8615 (1987.5Mhz) - 112Mbps
U/L: EARFCN: 26615 (1907.5) - 42.3 Mbps
Previously, in this exact location, I would get

It could do gigabit with this right backhaul. I heard SoftBank say 30 gigabit with 160 MHz or so of spectrum.
I figured New T-Mobile was sandbagging us with the 600 mbps download estimation. Don’t get me wrong, that’s plenty of speed as most fiber optic WiFi speeds are between 200-500 mbps. Just thought N41 could potentially average 800+ mbps download with full 5G capacity.

Yes. 5G can handle couple million devices vs couple 1000 on LTEAny idea if N41 will ever be able to top 600 mbps download a year from now or when New T-Mobile finishes their buildout? Only asking as I have come close to topping 300 mbps download on my former iPhone 8 Plus and current iPhone 11 Pro Max with B41.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If sprint would have bought Alltel like they should have would they have gotten all the B5 800 MHz that att and vzw have making those two weaker?Yeah like not merging with Alltel, instead of Nextel. Now they did acquire Clearwire which had all this EBS spectrum. So I have to give them credit for that.Sent from my SM-G975U1 using Tapatalk

Should have put the money in Sprint, Masa.SoftBank was another sprint back choice. They should have let dish buy them. At least with that, they would have gotten more spectrum out of it, most importantly B71

Did Dish actually do that by March 2020? NoThis came up in the YouTube recommendations. Granted this video is a year old.

If you have 3 carriers for B2 hopefully your area gets a spectrum swapHere's all 3 B2 carriers showing around me. EARFCN 1125 is the 3rd carrier I should see soon on my home site. Its the old B2 HSPA 5x5 block and it only goes live on LTE after a site has been upgraded.Technically AWS has 3 carriers here also with the 2 AWS-1 carriers and J block AWS-3.

Oh that makes more since thenFor sure. Its using N71 and B71 at the same time. For a total of 25mhz+20mhzof b66/4

Dam has to be 256 qam on 66 then. That tower is completely missing B2. But before B71 came online 2 weeks ago it was 20mhz of B66+B12 only. With peak speeds at late night of about 200mbps.

It's got to atleast be 66+2 LTE plus n71 to hit that high for that DLI think its using B66+N71 upload CA.Sent from my SM-G988U1 using Tapatalk

Is LAA part of that?T-Mobile 5G working great my way. Broke upload and download records on all carriers here.

All they have to do is add the B71 and B41 antennas that's about itSeriously? Seems like a waste of effort and resources to have to come back and upgrade the site again right after building it.
