yeah.. My Pixel 3XL on Sprint has also seen its network issues share, in which it will drop to 3G and stay there, or it will go into Roaming, giving me incorrect system time, etc etc,....

Voicemail isn't working. If you use the native Android and leave a voicemail, I noticed there is not a symbol in the status bar. Anyone having this issue ?
Yes. This also happens to me. It seems that quite a few are having this issue in which there is no notification (native to Pixel Phone Dialer app) that you have voice mail pending. A work around is to install the sprint visual voicemail app. At least that way I get voicemail notifications when someone leaves a VM.

I see. Well, I guess I'll have to be patient until it gets finalized here.
No in the south east US, It is good now. Tmobile roaming for sure is your culprit, as you saw with band 2. It is a tower or cluster update. Takes time to get through the tubes.

Experienced this same thing for two weeks here while it rolled out. Good luck!

That is T-Mobile LTE roaming.
I would guess that what you’re experiencing is probably because T-Mobile roaming is still rolling out in your market and handover params aren’t finalized yet.
Hmm.. Interesting. Thanks for the feedback. I will keep an eye on it to see if anything improves.

I've been currently experiencing excessive roaming around SE Michigan Area. I recently got Pixel 3 XL and I'm not sure if network issues or phone issues. I am also experiencing while in roaming mode, my system time changes and is ahead by 5 hours. Last night, my alarm went off in the middle of the night. I was confused, but when I looked at my phone, I noticed it was roaming.
Anyone else seen similar issues around SE Michigan Area? Just curious.
I've chatted with Sprint Care and they reset the service on their side. But if the problem persists, they told me to contact level 2 technical service. go figure...
NOTE: I notice while roaming I'm on Band 2.

You are able to use same sim card in Nexus 6P for the Pixel XL? Correct?
Yes. You have to activate it on Sprint.com.

hmmm... I just talked with Google CS and they confirmed that build OPR1.170623.026 is correct for Sprint......

I flashed my Pixel manually and it is OPR3.170623.007. According to Google, it should be the same for the XL.
The alternate, OPR1.170623.026, is labeled for "Fi/Canada": https://developers.google.com/android/ota#marlin

hmmm... I got OTA and it is now OPR1.170623.026.... I'm on Sprint..... Now I wonder if I have the correct one...???

Anyone received the September security update on Pixel XL (Sprint)? If so, could you let me know what build number you have??
Thank you.

Yeah... The Sapphire Blue looks quite nice!!!... However the black has some sort of greenish tint when looked at a certain angle.....
I'm waiting for the end of this year to see what Google has in store (from what I heard 3 Pixel phones will be available).
On the other hand, $12.75/m for 24mo for the U11 is very tempting.

I talked with Sprint chat today and they are sending me this one. Item # 019962040146. WW GEM LTE+GSM REM 4FF CSIM V5.Go to the 5X thread and get the correct item numbers as the "Original" M9 SIM card does not work in the MXP/5X/6P. The MXP SIM does work in the M9 and of course the 5X and 6P.

Hello all. Just wanted to confirm the correct sim to use for Sprint. From what I read here, it is the same one used for the M9 or Moto X Pure Edition. Is that correct?

Reported to Sprint? Either via the App or Twitter?
Yes. Via Chat and the App as well..

FYI Sprint LTE connectivity issues in Farmington Hills, around 12 Mile and Halsted Rd.
Numerous Sprint phones can't connect to LTE. 3G is weak.

Do the new dual band 800+1900 antennas provide any better range/coverage than the existing 1900 only ones?
The only thing is that 800 MHz signal will travel further than 1900 MHz and would have better in-building penetration... So if you are in buildings where your phone drops to 3G, you would probably be able to stay on LTE B26 ....

anyone know if Nexus 6p supports Sprint's HD voice??

That is good to hear. I am trying to read more about this device but want know how it behaves on Sprint's network. I currently have an M8, but guess the N6p should be better with RF.I'm impressed with the real world RF performance of the 6p. At home, on B41, the 6p is consistently about 3-4dBm better than my old Nexus 6 (literally side by side, same GCI/PCI). And I can get B41 in my basement now.
At work, instead of constantly flipping between eHRPD and B25 LTE (the nearest tower has unoptimized B26), I've been on B25 LTE the entire morning (between -99 and -104dBm). Awesome.

Does this device support CA on Sprint??
-
Chances are that in Florida you had B26. With B26, you will have better propagation and in-building penetration as it is a lower frequency. No band 26 in east michigan in the near future i think.....PRL update always helps. It's what I had to do in Florida to get LTE reliability. But yes, LTE really isn't that reliable in the Detroit market, especially Detroit. At my house I'm on 3G most of the time. It was excellent in Florida.

You can try disabling those in apps if you're not rooted

I won't even let me dissable them (The Sprint Connections Optimizer at least).....
