  6. Same here..no voice and data at the same time tho«@Edaddy713 Debating smh http://t.co/8PBDV9Xz»

  7. So it turns out that (according to the verge) the cdma versions of i5 will not be able to use data and voice at the same time, regardless of 3g or 4g. One user on the apple forum explained why this may be the case; in order to save on space and battery consumption, apple (foolishly) opted for a single radio for the modem. So although the 9615 seems to support every modern relevant protocol we would use, It appears that only one mode can be active at a time. Quite simply, that is trash in my opinion...we should be moving forward, not backward.
  8. Can you imagine the fallout from this now that people expect this feature on LTE devices? I can't think of a single CDMA handset that cannot do SVLTE...that would be crazy.
  9. You are right. I just hope that even if HD voice is not supported, SVDO is, because all of sprints new LTE hands support it.
  10. Samsung had just unveiled its orion core at the END of 2010, which was later used in the GSII. 2010 was the year of the Galaxy s1 (epic 4g) , Evo 4g, Droid X, etc. They were nowhere near shipping a 32nm product...from what i remember most were still on 65nm. Innovation with regards to a smaller process would be folly at this point, because TSMC and quite possibly Global Foundries is having much trouble with the 28nm process volume. (http://www.extremete...en-to-jump-ship) And thats just for Nvidia and Qualcomm...A company with the volume demands of Apple would definitely lose money if faced with delays because the process margins were low. I highly doubt they could claim the 2x performance jump by simply using a rebranded Exynos. Thats pretty much impossible without doubling the clock speed, which would drain the battery exponentially.
  11. Please show me a phone that had 32nm instead of 45nm in 2010, because i do not believe there was one. Hell, the galaxy s2 Exynos 4 was built on 45nm, so i dunno where you are getting that. Whether the phone was required to have a 4 inch screen or not is subjective. I would prefer larger, but that is not evidence of obsolescence. On the LTE front, the LTE modems before the one that is integrated in the S4 were very power hungry. Iphones are known for good battery life, so using the tech before it was less power hungry would be the antithesis to what they have already accomplished with battery life. The 9615 is just not becoming available, so it was prime time to integrate the tech.
  12. I'd like to know,what makes the iPhone 5 2010 dated tech?
  13. This lightning out here aint no jokr

  14. In my opinion, it would be kind of retarded if it didn't, seeing as how the mdm9615 is the most advanced lte modem on the market. They also posted on engadget that a sprint spokesperson stated that it won't be compatible with HD voice because its HD voice implementation uses wcdma and the iPhone doesn't have 1xa...but this statement is also retarded to me, because it seems the 9615 can do EVERYTHING except wimax...
