Yes. It causes me great pain to watch him suffer. Always in search of WiFi. He has the Atrix 4G too with the lapdock (the only reason I can't talk him into a Photon), it's quite a neat setup but very underutilized with the restricted data.

    What a waste.....

  2. I wouldn't mind data caps if overages weren't insane. My friend has 200MB on ATT and if he goes over he has to pay more than it would have cost to get the 2GB plan for that month. Why not have a set $/GB amount? That way you could associate your usage directly to a dollar amount and wager whether it is worth my money. The way so much of it is now is so clearly trying to screw over users rather than reducing use.

I'm happy with Sprint. I rarely use more than 5GB per month but if I do, it's OK. Seriously, moving my thumb all the way over to the WiFi widget on my home screen is just too much, I can't be bothered with such a thing.

    200MB? That's a day for me

  3. One of the best things about this battery is that it charges rapidly when plugged into a wall charger. My old EVO was taking forever to recharge as it got older.

    S3 does the same

I would never buy a blackberry, but I would strongly consider this phone. I just don't have a need for a physical keyboard. This phone has the specs to hold its own against anything else out there.

There are plenty of people who have been waiting for a top tier device with physical keyboard, and this will sell like crazy.

I wonder if the screen will be better than my SIII? Guess we'll see

In my personal view, I have no need for them. But I still know a lot of people who really want a physical keyboard.

  6. Sprint LTE-1900 Coverage Map of McKinney, TX as of 8/8/2012

And for comparison, here is Sprint's overly optimistic LTE coverage for the area. I used actual Sprint data for tower heights and figured range (downtilt) for sectors based on using 2/3 of the distance to the next adjacent tower.
