I only figured it out by going into settings and changing it that way.. Alright, wondering if I should go into the screens and change the priorities or just leave it..I'm right on the edge of a tower for lte and can barely get a signal with it..don't know how to do screen shots to post either..in a speed test last night the highest I got was 8 up and 1 something down..

Ok got my g2 in..its a really nice device..i like the keyboard layout but really disappointed i dont have swype...so far im going in and out of lte..must be right on the outskirts of the tower..phone is stock because i dont know what im doing when it comes to messing with the other screens Edited for not looking hard enough.. A quick question, when you first get your phone do you run the battery down all the way before charging or do you immediately hook it up to the charger?

Arrival scan Gonzalez 10:30 tonight so I should be getting it sometime this evening.. Unfortunately I'm away from home.. Oh well.. What's one more day.. Ready to test it around Gonzales and baton Rouge..

Well there went the UPS truck and not a stop was made... Said arrival in new Orleans this morning at 10:30 so I figured it would have been here today.. This is taking forever..

Well looked at taking info this morning and it says exception package could be arriving later due to unexpected circumstances, look at taking progress for more info.. Low and behold it says late train.. Go figure, I work on the railroad.. Lol arrived in new Orleans last night at 10 so there may still be a chance to get to baton Rouge before I leave for work tonight..

So my g2 departed from Hodgkins, IL yesterday at 2:58 on.. No arrival scan yet.. How long does this process take to get to the next place or to Louisiana??

Best buy is showing otter box commuter for 34$ but not available yet, keeping an eye on it for when it is actually available there.. for those who got the 50$ gift card.. It comes in white and black..

has anyone that ordered from bestbuy received a confirmation about shipping?? mine still says 1 order in process of being fulfilled..it better ship by tonight or im gonna be raising some hell when i get off the train in the morning..its almost making the $50 not even worth it now..

well crap...the woman was misinformed apparently...i didnt have my credit card info with me so i had to hang up call my wife and get the info then call back..i got the guy i talked to yesterday, matt and he is saying you can no longer put in a preorder and the $50 gift card is not available for selection since the release is today..trying to get a supervisor now because this is not how a preorder should work..i will never preorder anything from best buy again..this is a pain in the neck..he couldnt switch it to in store pick up either so only choice was to cancel and just go to the store to pick up and not get $50 gift card..looks like im waiting till next week unless a supervisor can do something different..will let you guys know what the super says.. edit: well cant do anything if i want to keep the gift card..think i may print out my order form and go in like someone else said but the thing is, its not even showing the $50 gift card availability anymore on the website.. and i still dont have a shipping confirmation yet!!!

on the phone with customer service right now and they are canceling my order and redoing it to in store pickup and still getting the gift card..she said it wouldnt be until next week if i would wait on the shipment..this is crazy for that..she is really helpful and understanding though..tried to just change it to in store pick up first but would not work so have to cancel then reorder for instore pick up and i asked 3 different times about the gift card and even said i heard it was for online order delivery only and she said that is not true.

When would be an acceptable time in the morning to call if someone has not received a shipping confirmation? If I don't have one by in the morning I'm calling to complain and see if they would expedite shipping for free due to the trouble of the pre-order.. This is ridiculous.. Sprints are shipping and ours don't even have a release date on the best buy shop just says coming soon..

Just called best buy in BR and the guy said he had them in but they have not been scanned into inventory and don't know when they will do it.. I asked him to put two to the side and he said he couldn't do that..this is very annoying.. Bad first experience pre-ordering and will probably not do it again..

Hmm. This guy was really nice and understood my complaint of having to wait who knows how long for it to ship and I kept repeating the release date was tomorrow and there was no information on mine at all.. He really was trying to be helpful.. I asked if I would be able to get my gift card since I pre-ordered online and he told me yes?? So I don't know.. He just said he wasn't able to do it because there wasn't any showing in store in Baton Rouge

Ok talked to 1888bestbuy just now and asked if there was a way to switch from delivery to in store pick up.. He said my store is not showing any in inventory but if they were he would be able to switch it for me.. I asked him to please put that in his notes and I would call my local sprint store to find out an est. Arrival and would be calling back.. He basically said a pre-order was basically guaranteeing you a phone in case it was a popular phone and sold out in store but not a certain arrival of said phone..

I mean it's not showing up in previous orders or current orders.. Its gone.. Vaminos..
