    LG G3

So I'm wondering if anyone else is getting this issue... I've checked with three different users in SE Michigan and all are getting the issue. The thing is the issue is only occuring on LG G3 phones. Other phones are fine. Around the time of this past weekend something was done to the Sprint network... Anyone that has an LG G3 running ZV4/ZV6/or ZV8 firmware is unable to connect to the LTE network in a huge area... I'd say 40 square miles. Once we get outside this blackout zone (as I'll call it) and then do a hard radio reset in Signal Check Pro the LTE service comes back. I can be right next to a tower with the issue do a hard reset and I'll see the phone get LTE (Band 25) for a time... The LTE won't pass any data then it goes to 3G. These are band 41 enabled towers. I've tried calling Sprint advanced tech support and they were no help. I'm not sure what I can do... I don't want to switch carriers but I'm running out of options since Sprint engineering will not look at the issue.
  2. I'm in East Michigan and where I live Sprint is better then Verizon and AT&T. I'm not going anywhere and think the Sprint network works good enough. I can't wait for Band 41 and carrier aggregation across 25/41 (with 26 coming later). Sprint does need to add another b25 carrier in Detroit. Hopefully that will come soon to help throughput...
  3. I see the tower at 13112 Waco Dr in Livonia has just gotten LTE going a few days ago. I've been waiting for this one for a long while. The next one I'm hoping for is the E Maple one in Walled Lake or the Holly one. Both those really need it.
  4. All these workarounds for a junk performing phone. I returned mine and am totally happy now that I have something that works. The release was nowhere near ready. If there was at least WiFi calling it would work around all the radio issues. The fact that the phone is not even Airwave compatible without forcing it in total 3G mode hurts too.
  5. I don't mind a harder way to edit just as long at I can edit it. They did only charge me restocking on one of the phones. I was lucky. Once there is a method out to update PRL on one of the newer phones I'll probably switch to that once and for all. I'm very happy with the S4 though.
  6. Well I took it back. I didn't like on the 5s how it attached to 3g more then LTE. I also had the S5 and that phone is a joke. They took out the PRL update menu that the S4 had. I returned the S5 too and am using my 56018 PRL on the S4. I also have LTE and 1x/EVDO on seperate radios again. No band 26 but we don't have it anyway in East Michigan.
  7. Wow that stinks. Not sure if I should take this phone back. That is kind of a deal breaker. I took back the S5 because of tons of issues with it.
  8. So weird they would do that... I am jailbroken on my iPhone 5s. Can't I overwrite the carrier.prl file that is currently there on the file system?
  9. Does anyone know where to download the 53133 PRL? I wanted to try putting it on my iPhone 5s.
