Here is the White Lake site... Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk
-
I'm really hoping we see something in the Brighton, Howell, Whitmore Lake, or Pinckney areas... we really need it. I did find the Hartland, Commerce, Novi, and White Lake sites so far. I got a screenshot of the White Lake site. I had a BSL of Brighton Township, MI pop up on 1x800 but it was super weak (-105) I couldn't hold on to it so I haven't been able to identify the site yet.

Keep in mind you can always update your SM-G955U to SM-G955U1 unlocked version... In the long run I think the Sprint version will get more updated. The unlocked version usually only gets quarterly. At least that is how it was with the S7... I think the S8 caught the end of the quarter and thats why it has July security patch. You can go back and forth though...

I did more checking and can see 26DB on B41 on the Unlocked Variant in test mode. I can say now that the unlocked version has HPUE enabled without needing to flash Sprint software.
-
I didn't know if the G950 Unlocked supported HPUE so I flashed the Sprint (SPR) variant software on it. The Sprint software does seem to hold on to B41 a little longer and have a slightly faster upload speed on B41 (keep in mind I just did this yesterday). I wish in test mode these was someway I could tell... I left my girlfriends phone will running the unlocked software so I could do test mode side by side at some point.

I just checked and I was told my area will not have LTE800 until October 2018 .

I'm hoping the Pinckney area sites get some of this band 26 love soon... Nothing yet. I saw LTE800 pop up for a second then it went away.

Has anyone tried signing this with the iOS app signer and loading it with xcode on a non-jailbroken phone? Would it work? -

I love this app. I use it on my T-Mobile iPhone 6s Plus to tell what band I'm on all the time. Is there any way to donate to keep development alive? -
Has anyone had any luck flashing thier own PRL on the Galaxy S6?

Sprint has admitted the G3 software issue that stops it from connecting to LTE on certain towers. Maybe when a tower is prepped for CA? Anyways Sprint is currently working with LG on a software update to fix the problem. If you want constent LTE I suggest a different phone until the software is fixed. Sprint upgraded me to a Galaxy S6.
-
I have this same issue and all G3's in Michigan are having the issue except for Metro Detroit proper. I've not had LTE for almost 2 weeks now. I've had tickets open and no one has fixed the issue
-
OK Michigan peeps... Weirdest issue! We have a bunch of phones that can't connect to LTE. I have a ticket out there on my site with Sprint but its been sitting with Field engineering for a while with no resolution. The problem is only on eCSFB devices they can't connect to LTE on hundreds of sites. They can connect to sites around metro Detroit. Older iPhones and stuff can connect to LTE fine. Problem is in cities like Whitmore Lake, Hartland, and a bunch other to name a few.

Its not just the G3... We have massive LTE outages in Michigan. It looks like a eCSFB issue where the phone won't even register to the tower. Once it goes to 3G and I get to another radio I need to reset the rdio to get it to go to LTE (if I go to a fixed area)
