  1. Well I believe he said up to minot so I'd assume 83 will be getting some towers, we will just have to see. 150 towers keep in mind for this summer.
  2. He complained about the trip up i29 from sioux to fargo, said "were going to fix that" Apparently work extends past Grand Forks, And a steady stream down 94. Towns mentioned included the oil patch areas, as well as minot even. Apparently hwy 2 wont see love though.
  3. Lmao just checking if anyones paying attention. Ill say this we talked about western dakota, 150 new towers, and he was a sr construction project manager.
  4. Good news, bumped into an Ericsson employee yesterday. They are back in town doing work again Also he hinted at plans for new towers, not just a wrap up of NV but actual expansion. Don't know how much more I should say.
  5. Buy a new phone and activate on framily without contract. You cash pick up an s4 mini or nexus 5 for under 400 and have tons of freedom. Plus network priority and full access to network features.
  6. Found a bunch of 1x800 yesterday however though. And started seeing much higher 3g speeds off my local tower during peak congestion times, feels like backhaul is installed. Must be working again in our area, hopefully.
  7. Also we shouldn't be so stuck on keeping unlimited. Most users don't need it, and those of us who do can get a yearly upgrade. That's got to be worth the extra 20 a month if you ask me. Only people who lose out her to any extent are ios users, who finally have to pay for thier devices like the rest of the world. Hard to compare such a plan to the ED plans
  8. However, I only help people get to lines 5 or 6. Have to leave some work for my customers to do.
  9. I work as a sales rep. Were more than glad to help cause it allows us to offer a better price to knock people over the fence from red who in the past may not have seen enough of a savings to bother. Ive earned a bunch of new lines by revisiting old leads with a better price point. I run a spread sheet of customer framily ids that are willing to let me add people into thier group. Any rep worth their salt should like this plan as well. It's a giant referral program that drives new lines. Plus if adopted by larger carriers and or with enough acceptance of plans like these one could foster competition between handset manufactures on pricing. A win for all of us.
  10. "I saw I was on that 4g lite the other day" Often heard phrase at our store as NV has been progressing My buddies on the competitors network always hide behind the fact that they are on 4g everywhere. Nevermind the fact that the majority of sensorly speed tests on said network in my area range .5 mbs ~ 3.0mbs. No faster then our 3g network. People are sheep, and will eat a good marketing ploy.
  11. Ive been super happy with carbon ROM on my g2 if your biggest concern is a nice clean ROM. Or pick up a nexus 5. That's a topic for elsewhere though.
  12. It depends on your network home so to speak. Im in a nv complete area with partial back haul and 1900 lte active in spots. Ive switched back and forth between single band and triband phones. And in an unfinished market I would not rush to buy a triband device, radio in my g2 seems quirky and unstable while traveling compared to my htc one. However anticipation of 800 lte keeps my g2 in my hands. I would however strongly advise if you must upgrade I wouldnt waste time/contract/easypay on a single band device.
  13. Yeah I've been connecting to more 1x800 the last couple of days. Changes the sound quality for sure. I think the note 2 still has its 1x800 support closed via prl though. Something's going on though for sure. Also been some data issues for myself. The other day my local tower was broadcasting evdo and 1x800 only, all three devices of mine connected to them. Maybe just more backhaul and LTE site acceptance but idk for sure. Guess now that's its finally above zero degrees they are back to work . Cant wait to see band 26 show up in town.
  14. Looking at sensorly maps and it looks like our bubble of LTE has expanded. Need to get some free time and go for a drive to map it out
  15. Yeah it was only testing I'm sure, I'd wager none of the sites list as LTE accepted yet. I'd probably set your device to cdma only in the meanwhile, may address your 3g errors.
  16. LTE turned on in Fargo last night in some areas, assuming 45th st area, the guys at the other store have been picking up LTE. Nothing mapped on sensorly.
  17. Feel like I missed a deleted post, which although saving me from ignorance kinda bums me out. Yeah I've seen cable work around town, and talked with a gentleman for a cabling company stating sprints been paying his bills so to speak this summer. Hopefully the waits almost over.
