  1. Here is the speed that I was getting at the time.
  2. Just grabbed an LTE signal on the way through Cornelius. Have iphone so sensorly wounding map, but I did get speed tests and map location! Will post when I get back home.
  3. Start heading north toward Huntersville, and I'll be much happier!
  4. Thanks Robert. That helps make sense of it to a degree. I just assumed it was a market that they could knock out relatively quickly, given that it isn't that large, but also not terribly small. I guess I just assumed they would slowly pick up the pace if anything. Just not go backwards lol.
  5. I completely agree. I know they've had some setbacks, but it seems like they've attacked other markets a lot more aggressively after initial work began. It's obviously not as large as Houston, or Chicago, but no less important I believe. Sprint is announcing a lot of markets, but has yet to "launch" any new ones.
  6. So In areas that are becoming more populated but have few towers, the coverage won't change?
  7. Yea that's a new one. Probably get accepted this week. Good stuff!
  8. Feel like we should for sure man. Can't see them stopping on us lol. If anything I see our site numbers going up. Unless sandy has caused a lot of disruption on the coastal towers for sprint that is. Haven't heard anything though. I'm sure they had to experience some problems though.
  9. I did read the article. I actually read it from multiple sites as to get many perspectives on the matter. They all seem to share the same theme that AT&T isn't happy at all with the amount of spectrum sprint, a now Japanese majority owned company will have control of in the American wireless industry if it gains control of clearwire's spectrum holdings. "Watch out, Sprint (S): AT&T (T) hasn’t forgotten the role you played in wrecking its proposed merger with T-Mobile. And now that Sprint is engaging in a series of mergers of its own, first with Japanese wireless company Softbank (SFTBY) and then with longtime partner Clearwire (CLWR), AT&T has decided to complain loudly about its rival’s newfound love for industry consolidation. As The Hill reports, AT&T spokesman Brad Burns warned this week that “Softbank’s acquisition of Sprint and the control it gains over Clearwire will give one of Japan’s largest wireless companies control of significantly more U.S. wireless spectrum than any other company.” Burns went on to say that AT&T expected that Sprint’s newfound position of spectrum dominance “will be fully explored in the regulatory review process.”
  10. Not sure why I put merger was rushing... But I know I read somewhere that AT&T was gonna do whatever they could to object to the investment. Simply because sprint opposed the tmobile merger. And they want all the spectrum they can get ,even though they won't let customers do what they want with their data.
  11. Robert do you believe that this along with the opposition they face from AT&T and whomever else may cause this merger to not go through? Or what about FCC approval in general? It's silly to think that clearwire wouldn't won't them to have that spectrum.
  12. I sure hope so. In order to make their deadline of 100 cities by year's end they'll have to be at a good pace. The site numbers surpassed 500 this week so looks good so far. It'll be so nice to watch a video without buffering, or siri to answer me instantly in peak hours.
  13. I used to check the https://network.sprint.com/ website before they redid it recently, and noticed that a tower was actually missing from before.? Is that some kinda goof on their part? Or something else entirely?
  14. Yea just a little sarcasm lol. I assumed that the Charlotte downtown area would be the priority for the market due to the number of users there. Also, I know it isn't the largest market, but I wondered if there'd hit break neck pace on towers like the ones in the Chicago. If the weekly numbers move that fast then yeah it shouldn't be long.
  15. Completely jealous. Probably won't get north towards Mooresville til 2013 lol.
  16. Ok great. Will these be posted on the wall as the list is available? Thanks again Robert.
  17. Curious to know if there is any update on the Charlotte/Mooresville market. If the launch date is on schedule, perhaps ahead or behind schedule and if there is a solid launch date yet. Thanks.
  18. this looks like an awful lot of roaming though and not alot of in house spectrum. With unlimited data, wouldn't this lead to a spectrum cruch much sooner than other networks?
  19. I've seen a network vision completion coverage map online Sprint‑4G‑LTE‑map.jpg and im wondering if this is with or without the 800mhz nextel spectrum.
  20. Thanks again guys. I was going to compare and contrast the 4s bands with the 5, but i was on here and saw this article.
  21. Well that sounds good. Is there any evidence that any of this, or any thing else included on the phone will take advantage of network vision? (aside from the obvious inclusion of lte) By that i mean perhaps better reception due to the antennas, or possibly better 3g speeds? Thanks again.
  22. I believe I have a decent understanding of this article, however I was curious as to how the bands of this new iPhone compares to that of the 4s, and if it is a marginal improvement, or an improvement at all. Thanks
