  1. There seems to be so many wifi calling threads I can't keep track of them all, I posted about this in another one but I'll say it here too.

All afternoon I was more frequently then not getting the fast busy reorder tone as well, while on wifi calling and cellular, incoming and outgoing. Actually disabling the feature corrected it. Spoke with support whom kept trying to make excuses and then finally put a ticket in for it.

the problem seems to subside at night, which makes me think it's some kind of capacity issue in the backend or something.

Figures this would get off to a rocky start, as everything new at Sprint does.

Edit: Another thing I forgot to mention is ever since activating the wifi calling my call logs on the sprint site are showing calls to random 504-406-xxxx numbers which is New Orleans.

Same but mine are 501. It isn't even numbers that I have used with wifi calling enabled which is weird. What is weird is when I googled some of the numbers they aren't even owned by Sprint.

  2. There is no way. If Bluetooth is connected, it goes through that. If an AUX cord is connected, it goes through that. The only other choice is turning voice navigation off.

Can't you change it by selecting the option in the same place an AirPlay device is shown? I know I can when my Bluetooth speaker is connected. You would have to manually switch back to the Bluetooth connection every call though.

  3. The first player in this game to unify all subscribed services under a common UI with a robust, searchable guide, will likely win. Apple TV tried, but they still have the concept of apps as channels -- why would I want to use the Watch ESPN app on Apple TV when I have ESPN on my cable box?

The problem is it is not going to be cheaper than cable or satellite and in a way it would be more expensive when you factor in the cost of the Internet connection to deliver the content.

  4. So could I, in theory, buy one of these off ebay and put it onto the side of my house plug it into my Ethernet and go?

I'm sure it would add at least 10k to the value of the house!!

It would probably reduce the value of your house. Lots of people don't want to live next to a cell tower.

  5. Was at Mercy hospital today and had great Clear B41 around that area and Band 26 indoors and out.

Most Sprint sites are actively broadcasting B26 from what I observed and the network seemlessly handed me off between each band which I only noticed by checking Signalcheck Pro.

    Sprint B26 inside and nearby.

When I was therea month or so ago I had really fast Band 25 while my wife had 1x on Verizon.  It was nice for once to have the more usable phone. Sprint has come a long way.

  6. My sister has a 5c and her charging port is on the fritz. Her solution is to switch ti AT&T to get a "free" iPhone 6 - tried to explain to her it won't be unlimited and won't be "free" but she doesn't get it.

Will Sprint repair this? or Apple? She doesn't have Apple Care nor TEP. But I have had Sprint fix phones before without insurance, they just charged $50 or something.

Take it to an Apple Store I have had pretty good luck with them swapping it out for free.

  7. I got my iphone two weeks ago and tallied up 6.1GB in data usage. I have an unlimited data plan. Is there a threshold on the Sprint network where they may begin throttling my speeds?

Perhaps I should take a break from doing speed tests all over town. I used the XFINITY TV Go app to watch two tv episodes and some live news channels. I can't believe I sucked up all this data in about two hours today. Okay, back to Ancient Aliens marathon on the Spark network.

    Unlimited baby!

I streamed some CNN coverage(from the Xfinity app) a while back for like 15 minutes and was surprised how much data it used .

Unrelated note, that typeface is so ugly and hard to read.

  8. T-Mobile would have been out the door and Sprint would be clinging for dear life if not already dead.

The sidekick was the cool phone to have when the iPhone first came out (and before).  The iPhone was too expensive and all the cool kids had sidekicks on T-mobile.  This is at least how I remember the end of middle school/ start of high school.

  9. I would never use this. What happens when their cloud system gets breached? It's annoying to have credit/debit cards reissued, but would be terrible to need to close and open new bank accounts.

This is the way Target's Red Card works. I used it to buy a tv for the extra 5 percent off but stopped using it because it took too long for purchases to come out of my account. If I went shopping on Friday afternoon the money wouldn't be taken out of my account till Tuesday.

I like that with Apple pay the money comes out immediately.

  10. It's OK guys. People on the TMUS side are getting tired of the act. Maybe not the results, which Jim Allchin or Neville Ray would have also been able to replicate if they were CEO. Definitely the act. I know Legere already pissed off a bunch of female employees with his mysogynistic comments at the Uncarrier event in Seattle. I hope DT's board is paying attention.

He pretty much said in the video that they don't really care what he does because he has doubled the stock price for T-mobile since he has become CEO.
