    I am one of those cord cutters and use Slingtv with a rabbit ears. If I had to pay for local channels, that would be a deal breaker and would cut that as well. Yes the idea stinks. I didn't cut the cord for any purpose other than I didn't want to spend so much on tv.

    I wouldn't say they have wideband yet. My experience on Sprint isn't that different to my work Verizon hotspot. All Tmo has is 15x15 which was the speed winner in the last round in Rootmetrics testings and Verizon has only the B13 10x10 and B4 15x15. As far as I know from the Spectrum databases, the spectrum in those bands is it for Tmo and Verizon. Only expansion would be elimation of HSPA+ in B2 for TMO and refarm the 800 Cellular for Verizon. Also, Verizon only owns a 5x5 slice of 1900 in most of NM.

    Interesting as well, ATT has applied for at least 12 permits to towers they are on. I searched via Google Maps and all of the towers are either colocated with TMo, Sprint or Verizon. Each of those entities has the newest equipment up there (with the except of sprint band 41). Seems like ATT is going to be getting a capacity/speed boost with Band 30 here?

    Again doesn't surprise me. Like I have said before, if Sprint isn't cutting it, perhaps it is time to look for a different carrier.

    This performance does not surprise me. It is difficult for a tower or sector to get congested as everyone is moving along the highway.

    I think you forget the amount of spectrum that sprint has vs Tmo, ATT and Verizon. Sprint can in most cases in markets deploy 5 or 6 carriers of 20mhzTDD. I believe the plan is only aggregate three 20+20+20 TDD together. However, more LTE carriers (i.e. 5 or 6) is something no carrier can complete especially with this unlimited data buckets coming back. I dont' think the future is about speed (it is now) but capacity which sprint has set a platform to perform on.

    Well no band 26 RRU until the ibez is figured out. When NGN starts down there, you will see an addition panel up there for LTE Plus.

    First tower no sprint. Second sprint is top rack. No 800 RUU which is not surprising for El Paso.

    Hey man I feel your pain. Realize that if sprint isn't meeting that needs the other carriers might do it. Tmo won for speed down there so that is always and option.

    I check El Paso permits weekly and I haven't seen any sprint specific band 41 applications going through. Once we see applications, that is when the timeframe can really be nailed down. The process will go faster than before. It is not a tip and replace.
