  1. I tell you one thing nexus rom is gonna be smaller. Verizon g2 rom is 1.7 GB. Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  2. Release is tomorrow, Halloween. There ya go. Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  3. You have to talk to someone in international services. And I wouldn't even try right now, the device isn't even released yet and every device seems to have their own unlock method. Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  4. Locked sim is a normal thing. Verizon is a oddity especially how hard they lock down the Bootloader on their devices. Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  5. Maybe that's how Verizon does but sprint locks the sim. Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  6. Call sprint and hope they know how to do it..... It took months for the HTC One and gs4 to get unlocked properly. Also you can't be on a spending limit and it's some other bull they require. Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  7. Gotta sim unlock it first. They don't come sim unlocked you know.... Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  8. It should be added when the device gets released Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  9. The g2 will probably get a ota before its release so its ready to go day 1. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4
  10. The reason it wouldn't connect was the apns file is full of dummy entries. The network uses the APN file to authenticate what network to connect to in android. That's why it wouldn't connect. Whonever did it, did it on purpose probably because its not ready yet....which is why its not officially released yet.
  11. Its just a name Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4
  12. There's no issue with that device. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4
  13. The bands are turned off now and then turned on via ota. G2 has 1900 enabled right now but other bands can be turn on by going into some secret dialer settings. The ota will do that for you. Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  14. It's just a trendy name for the triband lte advanced network. Sprint always goes with the trendy names. Remember ready-link... Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  15. I was about to download the verizon rom just so i can compare but its 1.8 GB and thats a bit ridiculous....so ill have to fish xda for a apn file for the verizon G2
  16. With all those dummy entries I don't think can. I think your running pre released firmware that wasn't supposed to hit the streets. Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  17. Most of the time in the type section for a apn entry it's set to "mms", "default", "hipri" (hi priority), "supl" or "fota". A lot of them just say dummy. Maybe LG uses some magic to do it I don't know. I know htc does magic too because they don't even use a apn file. Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  18. Lots of dummy entries. That doesn't look clean at all. Phone might not know what entry to use for LTE. Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  19. I been waiting on that all day... Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  20. There's moment ay @googleplay on twitter Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  21. Airraives broadcast the same mcc-mnc's as a tower right? I ask because Verizon recently started using different mcc-mnc when connected to their network extenders. I hope sprint doesn't do the same... Some code in Android aosp had to be changed because of this and it caused a bit of a headache. Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  22. Yea that Sent from my One using Tapatalk
  23. Anybody adb android savvy with a g2? Could you pull the Apn file from their device? It holds all the info for connecting to 41 and 26. The mcc and mnc are in that file. Run in the command prop with adb in the path adb pull /system/etc/apn-conf.xml Sent from my One using Tapatalk
