    Will they ever lite up the tower in Vinita Park? That was the one that was suppose to reach far and wide for the 170/Page/Rock Road area I believe.

    This is the 3G "speed" I get in the Rock Road and 170 area. When I say the old 14.4 dial-up was faster, I was serious!

    I just left there and it is still 3G, slow 3G at that.

    I totally understand your frustration. I know STL will soon be lit up pretty good. My biggest concern is this part of America is pretty rural between the big cities, what kind of coverage will Sprint have away from these metro areas? I am going to stick with Sprint - for now, but they better bring better coverage. As you said, what good is "unlimited data" when you can't access it?

    Just wanted to post my WiMax speeds for future reference. I ran 8 tests over 4 days and they were all very close to these speed.

    I have a question. Why can there be coverage along an Interstate but it doesn't extend out very far to the sides? You would think the signal would broadcast in a circular pattern not an elongated one.

    No sir and I turned on/off the airplane mode as well and restarted my phone.

    Not around the St. Charles Rock Road area. And it is sporadic coverage from there South to I-64 most days.

    Gotcha on that. I do find it odd that downtown isn't fully covered yet. You would think this would be the first area they lit up.
