  1. Perhaps, but it would sure be nice to have some coverage inside the dome.
  2. Any chance a new tower near the Edward Jones Dome will lite up before the season opener in a few weeks?
  3. True me that. I know I could contribute more because I travel this area so much. I understand the Sponsor fees though, I just afford to be one. I am sure you are 100% right. It's just funny how the coverage will come and go, usually within a few minutes!
  4. I get better WiMax speeds than LTE speeds 95% of the time. WiMax is consistent and never slows down, wish I could say that for LTE. I am hoping it is a temporary thing.
  5. I understand that, but not such a huge discrepancy. I went 8 minutes with no signal at all, not even 3G. I think they have some wires crossed or something. It is like this every day.
  6. From the same exact spot in the QT parking lot 10 minutes later. It took me that long to get any kind of signal. I don't understand how one minute it works great, the next minute you get nothing and then the next minute you get less than half the speed you got before.
  7. LTE at Quik Trip on the corner of St. Charles Rock Road and I-170... Lightning fast!!
  8. Now if they can just get it in the Edward Jones dome before the season starts!
  9. Thanks guys. Truthfully I really don't need to understand because this stuff is way over my head anyway. Funny thing is after all this complaining I did, I found out I am being transferred downtown soon anyway!
  10. Wimax on Galaxy S2 - Rock Road and N. Hanley Road LTE earlier today at the same location this time on a Galaxy 4S. LTE comes and goes. Not sure why LTE is slower than WiMax. Perhaps because it is still being tweaked? Half the time LTE fades in and out. Ended up using the S2 most of the day because the WiMax is so much faster and a lot more reliable.
  11. The LTE comes and goes, so they must be working on it. I have had much better speeds today on WiMax 4G. I run the Page/Rock Road/170/270 corridor making deliveries and it is just hit/miss with LTE right now. At times I will get it and it will be slow other times very fast.
  12. No problem I do and I drove up and down the Rock Road about a mile each way from 170/ I also drove down a few side roads on each side as well. I was getting LTE all through that area.
  13. I am close to there. I travel this area in a 4 mile radius. I pulled in to get gas on the West side of 170 and that is where I noticed it. I will try, but I am not sure what LTE engineering is.
  14. You are probably right, I just found it odd how it happened. Right now LTE is working and 4G is not.
  15. Strange. I have two phones, one of WiMax and one for LTE. I work around the Rock Road and 170 area, traveling between sites on a route. I use my phone for everything, net, GPS, tracking packages, etc. Anyway, this afternoon I was using my WiMax and everything was going as normal - Pretty fast and very reliable. Around 6PM everything slowed to a crawl. I rebooted the phone, removed the battery, etc, several times and nothing helped. I then turn on my Galaxy 4 with LTE and I have LTE lighting up. Not sure what any of this means. Maybe they are testing a tower or something.
