  1. At existing Clearwire sites, there will be very little permitting required except in the most red-tapish kind of places. However, at Network Vision sites, adding TD-LTE to the mix will require an additional panel. So that will probably be a threshold where permitting and plan review will be triggered in 60%+ of jurisdictions. I think it will be a quick review in many places though. Robert Would sprint install panels that are 2500mhz only or would they go with Some type of dual mode/dual band antennas that would be compatible with future bands that they are likely to acquire? To save space on the towers like they have done with the nv panels. Which extra band do you suggest? Kind of premature to know the next band used. Since there are so many different LTE carriers possible in the EBS/BRS bands, there may not be enough room inside the panel for more antennas than just these bands. Robert from Note 2 using Tapatalk 4 Beta Maybe a panel for h-block/2500mhz being that Sprint most likely will be the only bidder. But then what if they don't or can't bid on it they will be screwed. Never mind
  2. I saw some workers on a tower on Blanding blvd just past Brannan-Field road across from Middleburg high school. When I'm back over that way on Tuesday I'll check for nv panels

  4. I believe in one of the other threads someone it may have been aj that said clearwire TDD at 20mhz would only peak at about 90 ish.
  5. Don't remember ever asking that. I've only stated on this site about my LTE being inconsistent. On another note... On my way to work I saw a newer model ford fusion with prominent sprint logos all over. Hmm I wonder what that was for? Wrong person I meant to respond to itguyjax. But I don't know what the Sprint car means.
  6. Just armed myself with signal check pro. This is a cool app. I have mine setup to notify me when I enter lte or 800 service. Along with my signal strengths in the top left.
  7. You sure do not want the PRL that is used on the Note. Right now, it is a downgrade. I thought the 2000 series prl was the downgrade since it has no CDMA 800 support
  8. This "nameless bug" will cause your Note II to stop working on calls and texting when it gets on the 800 network. If you want to have that situation, just change the PRL to allow your Note to access the 800. I guarantee you that you will want to go back to the currently provided PRL. Would the same happen if you use the note 2 prl with the bug on another device? I'm using 56015 on my evo LTE and wanted to know if the same would happen.
  9. In pretty sure at some point prepaid will get to use 800 service. Sprint want all their customers to have reliable service. Prepaid may be lower in priority in terms of service but it's still revenue for sprint. I thought that I wouldn't see a prepaid LTE device but between boost and virgin mobile there's quite a bit.
  10. The last four are from a 3g/4g accepted tower. The first two of the four are 3g. The last two of the four are LTE.
  11. Well maybe its a part of testing I know that some towers around the riverside area just come online with in the last month or so. Sprint could be running test to optimize the tower. Also since that tower may be one of the only ones in the area their may be a lot of users on that one tower.
  12. I haven't had any problems today. I connected to all the LTE sites that I would normally connect to. Only problem I have is at home. I'm on the edge of LTE coverage and bounce from 1x to 3g constantly
  13. Hey everybody, new here. I'm currently on Riverside avenue close to downtown. Currently getting 329 kbps download and 155 kbps uploads. I'd say if the towers aren't down they are being throttled pretty significantly... Your getting those speeds on LTE?
  14. What gave you the impression they were all out? You asked when were the towers going to be back up and running as if they were all down.
  15. In pretty sure that every flagship HTC device that is released from here on out well have them.
  16. I'm assuming you are sticking to your lte evo until they come out. I'm just thinking the next htc phone won't be released until next year. Well my upgrade isn't until January 1. I'm sticking it out until then my next phone most likely won't be an HTC phone. I say Tri band because I want a device that will utilize all of sprints bands. 800 for coverage in which I need for in building reception and 1900/2500 for capacity and speed. If you can wait a couple months it'll be worth it
  17. Two words.... Tri band
  18. I've been finding this connection optimizer to be quite useful. I'm in a lot of buildings where I have poor sprint signal but has in building WiFi my connection optimizer connects to the WiFi network without me having to turn it in manually. When I left the building it turns it off automatically which helps me out tremendously. It does have some battery drain but not enough to freak out about.
