I have a question not related to lte. What is everyone using for voicemail?

my HTC one will switch over to LTE much quicker than the nexus as well.I have been driving around today and it seems to me that I just so happen to get used to the HTC one's way of switching between 3g and LTE. Eventually my N5 does switch to LTE on its own. Just hangs on to 3G or LTE just that much longer than the HTC One. So it seems to be OK for the most part here in NYC.

I'm having issues in Lower Westchester county NY, borders the bronx an Alcatel area mostly all yellow. What about in incumbent markets where it appears that yellow sites are the ones causing issues with connecting?

I have contacted them numerous times. Finally got someone to open up a ticket. I gave them the site location that my nexus refuses to connect to.So out of those of us having LTE connectivity issues, has anyone contacted Sprint? What are they saying?

I'm definitely thinking this is a regional issue now. You're right down the road from me and I have several other reports from RDU guys that their N5 will not connect to LTE.
call in let sprint know

everyone having lte connection issues call sprint and bombard them as well

I had the G2 but sold it last week my nexus 5 is having the same lte issues the G2 had when I had it. My wife's galaxy s4 and my HTC one have zero issues connecting to lteWe know the G2 and N5 are having lte problems on Band 25. But is the S4T and HTC One having the problems also? That would help out if its a LG issue or not.

Does anyone have an opinion on whether getting a new SIM would help with LTE connectivity issues? My local store has some extras on hand
didnt help for me, you could try

When being stuck on CDMA on those towers, do you also lose data completely for a few minutes every ten minutes or so
i have noticed that it will drop 3g completely for a few seconds and reconnect to 3g, My HTC One will do this also but when it does drop 3g it will connect to LTE.
EDIT: It does seem to be dropping about every ten minutes or so.

I don't think its the device.... Its got to be something else. Two different triband devices acting the same way when I had them. Both devices can't be bad...This is exactly what I've wondered. Sprint chat basically thinks I'm crazy and tells me to go to a repair center, but I'll wait and see if Sprint updates their profile and PRL for this phone after it's officially available. The way others have no issues makes me want to just return it to Google and try another one

Two days in a row I drove the same way home. The nexus will connect to LTE at my starting point. I know which site it is connected to. But while driving to my destination it will not hand off to the next site, Which happens to be the site closest to my home. It has never connected to this site, even when I try to force the connection. How Could it be that it will connect to some sites but not others? Could it be possible that something is not enabled or installed at these sites preventing triband devices to connect. I ask this because I noticed the same behavior when I had the Lg G2 for a short time. Both devices seem to be connecting and refusing to connect to the same LTE sites....Do you have any issues with other towers/areas with connecting to LTE? The strange thing is that I can connect to LTE at home and multiple other towers while driving around. It's only the one by my work which is where I have always used it the most with my Note 2

your not, but LTE isn't working properly on my device as it is, I'm tempted to enable the other bands but trying not toIt's supposed to live here in NYC so i'll see if I can enable band 41 and see what SignalCheck tells me.
I can't be the first person in NY to get there hands on a Nexus 5

When I had mine it was the same way.Mine comes and goes. I can't be sure but it seems to be based on location. It will connect to some LTE sites, and not others.
PRL shouldn't affect LTE. It is handled by the SIM card.

You might be right. I am in an Alcatel market. The nexus is almost as bad as the LG G2 I had.No. Stock, un-modified devices have the issue. It is likely region specific. Alcatel-Lucent markets I'm thinking.

just curious as to why it would say connected? I figured it was stale data. Honestly I wouldn't even be poking around these menu's if the phone was working properly.Come back when you have a LTE connection and not a screen shot of stale data.

I agree its hard to follow...Well I got notification that my sprint upgrade Nexus 5 was shipping today, overnight for tomorrow evening hopefully.
Not excited reading alot of the LTE/voice hand-off issues, hopefully they'll be fixed with an update soon.
I echo the sentiments of others that we could use several N5 threads, specifically for some of the issues so they can be laid out and answered without sorting through 50 pages of varying topics.

so its not just me having LTE issues....Same here done this several times. Even called Sprint to make sure the ICCID was properly activated. Still not a single drop of LTE anywhere.

Has anyone been able to get LTE on a 32GB Black?
I got it activated no problem, but have been in known LTE areas where my EVO 4GLTE would pick up strong LTE quickly and have not gotten anything on the N5. After a reboot or airplane toggle, the LTE logo flashes on the signal bars and then the phone goes back down to eHRPD. Not sure if this is a graphical glitch or if it is having trouble authenticating ?
More MEID issues? Issues with my SIM? Any ideas?
i am having problems too

My 16 gb only connects when it wants to. In the lte engineering menu it's always in an idle state.....

My nexus 5 is behaving just like the Lg G2 I had it won't connect to LTE unless I force a connection. Starting to get frustrated
