I used to access the LTE engineering screen with the nexus 5 field test app, but it doesn't seem to be working after the update... Can anyone else verify?

Based on my signal check pro log, it seems my device has connected to a B26 site in Yorktown heights...

If its not coming in the very near future... I think they shouldn't have sent the email out. Sprint has to know that there are many people who are waiting for this update.LOL I just checked the email on my sprint account and I got it also. Maybe they're trying to not so subtly hinting that an update is coming shortly?

I would. It happened to me twice after sprint replaced two HTC one m7's after the speakers blew. The techs at the store never checked the uccid after activating the replacement devices.Thanks. I will look into this.

I had a problem where the uccid on the Sim was not probably input into sprints system and I could not get any lte until the right uccid number was input into sprints system. Check and make sure the uccid matches up. If not you will never get LTE.

I have all alerts enabled except 1x 800 lost alerts. I am having crashing issues and now that someone else just mentioned it I did notice that LTE connection alerts haven't been consistent lately.Quick note.. I think I discovered what is causing the crashing/freezing issues: alerts! I don't have any enabled, which is why I probably never experienced issues.. turned them on tonight to start testing something tonight--bam, issues. Turned them off, back to normal. That explains why most people correlated it with losing or connecting to data; those events are what trigger alerts.
Those of you who have been experiencing problems -- can you confirm if you had any alerts enabled? And if you disable them, does the app seem more stable?
Not sure what the resolution is going to be or how long that might take, but I'll be working on it. It is likely an issue with a newer version of Android, because I haven't touched the alert code in a long time.

Hey mike, I noticed that on my stock N5 if I have no service for an extended period of time, 30 min or longer, when I return to an area with service the app doesn't recognize that I have service again. Just two dashes in the notification bar. And if I try to open the app it crashes. The only way to get it running again is by restarting my phone. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

Was not successful connecting to band 41. Didn't think I would be. Band 25 lte signal strength was good, but it acted like 3g before NV, slow, but with the amount of people there I guess that's to be expected.

I'll be in times square tonight with my nexus 5 I'll be looking for band 41 and doing a speed test or two to see how the network holds up.....

same with meJust about every app I have updated in the last month or so has had the shortcut disappear.

Can't edit my last post. I will make sure not to clear the app from the recent app list, and see what happens.

this is also happening on my stock nexus 5.I would say since a few months ago, the app's icons in the notification bar are stale and don't update until I pull down and select the app. The widget is mostly stale or just grey.
Is this a known issue?
n5 standard, s4 GPe standard. Android version 4.4.2 on both.

where in Westchester are you referring? I have been working in New Rochelle and 3g speed is terrible. Why is backhaul so delayed? We have several areas in Westchester that are NV 3G complete yet the data still crawls along at dialup speeds. And I know some of it has to be god awful Cablevision.

thanks for the tip. I was just testing it out for ericdabbstry tune in app, it uses data but it also guarantees consistent bitrate.

I have never used the app b4. It starts up no problem, when I try to play a station with no headphones in, I get a prompt to input headphones. After the headphones are inserted pressed play again, and that's when I get the error.

Does the nexus have an FM radio hardware? I'm not rooted, so I can't try but, I wonder if a build prop change would get the app working...

I just ripped the apk off my HTC one and sideloaded it on my nexus. It installs fine but when I try to play a station I get an error. "FM radio not supported on device 'nexus5' "Thanks for helping me verify this. I guess that answers that question. Hmm I wonder why Sprint didn't flag the G2 as a FM radio capable phone. Ah well.
