I checked in the update software area and all it tells me is that I'm on iOS 8. No beta version or anything.
-
I couldn't leave well enough alone so I installed beta 4 since it's all I could find. I gotta say I'm starting to like iPhone more and more than I ever used to.
I'm sort of excited to see what the 6 is capable of after having its new software on the 5s.

Hmmmm. Tempting but from what I've been reading there isn't a lot of difference at this point in time.
The android guy in me doesn't want to leave well enough alone though. Guess we'll see how busy I get today.

What all is buggy about it? I just got a 5s on trade and want to try iOS 8 but don't want to ruin the phone until the final version comes out.My thoughts on iOS 8 Beta 5: MUCH more stable than beta 4. Still kinda buggy, but it's much more usuable. That's pretty much the only thing I have to say about it. I can answer any questions if anyone has any.

Do not be cheap. Pay for a comprehensive app.

Hate you. I didn't really NEED an app like that but it's awesome so why not.

Hard reset. If the reprogram doesn't fix it you need to start over. After I did the 72786 my status in about phone shows my phone number is 000-000-9576 and my MIN is 0000009576. I spent about an hour in a Sprint store this morning. He tried a 72786 on a LG G2 and it broke it also. He thought it was a network issue. Does that sound reasonable? I also spent an hour on the phone with Sprint tech support this evening. She was going to check on network issues and call back. She never called back. I don't want to reset the phone if it won't fix the problem.
If you were in my store it's what I would do.

Just the serial number. No real use to it. The LG Optimus G had one as well that was just as useless.I just noticed the white sticker on the back of the phone has mostly faded away, like the ink rubbed off or something. What was on it, and at this point is there any harm in peeling it off?

No word on cause yet. We've been told to keep quiet or else.

If someone wants to pm me a phone number for out there I can check it and see when they plan on being done.

Same here. My Nexus has been awesome as far as battery goes with Franco on it. I run auto brightness with gps on battery savings and I easily make it all day unless I use it heavily. My M8 has been crap since I rooted it. There's just nothing like a nexus.
Side note. My voicemail notification doesn't work. It will send me a text from 9479 but won't do the normal vm symbol. What setting am I missing? I'm not running Google voice. Just straight phone setup.

I actually used the flash tool today. There's a how to on xda. Lookup unbrick/return to stock sprint LG g2 and you should find it.
-
Download the firmware and flash it through the computer. I don't have links and don't remember exactly how it's done but most of the time a reflash can clear some issues up that a hard reset will not.

If I remember right that's only for credit union members for the unlimited data.

Of course I just flashed Paranoid Android and now this comes out. Think I'm going to wait til the B26 issue is figured out before I switch. I have a LOT of B26 around me where I'm at.

Which store Mark?
It may show it orders a refurbished phone but it really orders a new device. I've seen it a few times in my own store.

Cool! I was going to post something similar to that yesterday but was tired from being out all day. Thanks for your reports! I think I found the bug; the routine to check the provider is still seeing the last GCI you connected to and using that to identify it as B26. The next update will be mostly B41/B26 bugfixes, I should be able to get this included.

I was down in Schaumburg and kept seeing the glitch happen and figured it must just be holding old data somewhere.
Glad you got it figured out!

I haven't checked. It's a consistent thing and doesn't come and go so I'll check next time it pops up and I'm able to take a minute to investigate. In your engineering screens does it show you as connected to LTE? That is pretty weird... Maybe it glitched out in the transition between the two?

This is all it shows. It will say checking and then go to this page.
Beta 4 works fine but I would obviously rather be on the latest version if at all possible.
