Fulton St on the A/C/E when going back to Brooklyn. But I found it in each stop from Wall St to Christopher St on the 1/2/3. For some reason my 1x data wouldn't depopulate but my LTE did between stops and this would always come back.

Can you take a screenshot of your debug menu when you're connected to it again?

Are they refarming CDMA capacity for lte capacity
Sent from my LGLS775 using Tapatalk
Yes there are reports across the country where PCS C block is used with G to create 10mhz LTE carriers.
-
So they won't have to go and do any Spectrum refarming right?

Not sure what you're asking?

I can confirm service on the 1/2/3 from Wall St to 14th is live now. I connected to Band 25 2nd carrier.

Which stop did you take that screenshot/

Is that so? I called her again today and still sounded the same like yesterday. I assume I would have to do this through the sprint website?
Yeah try removing the option from both lines from sprint.com and see if it works. I read this somewhere before as to how someone else fixed it.

Was this done recently? If so that's really good news.
Not that recently, within a year or so.

I have yet to experience any CA like speeds but so far everything is working flawlessly. I went to visit a friend and in the hallways and elevator, I either dropped to 1x or 3G but once inside his apartment, the phone jumped to B41 for about 2-3 mins and then my screen flashed "No Service" so I began to worry. I waited and after about 60 seconds, LTE came up on the screen and this time on B26 and the entire time that I was visiting with him my 6s stayed on B26 and though I did not get a chance to do a soeed test, I was able to browse the web and watch YouTube without any lags or buffering.
I will test HD again tomorrow.
The best way to troubleshoot HD voice issues is by removing the WIFI CALLING option from your plan on sprint.com, after disabling it on your device. Do the same for your fiancee's phone and you should be golden.
I had to do the same for my wife's phone and she noticed the difference immediately.

Majority of sites have b25/b26. The remain 3g only sites are primarily stelth sites. There are a few other that just have ancient hardware on them. They need more macro sites to till in suburban neighborhood gaps. The more retail areas need small cells and neighbouring macros with B41.
I have a feeling some of those sites have access and upgrade issues and will probably need to be moved at some point. A great example is the site that used to be located on top of an abandoned bankrupt hospital in Queens. The building went up for auction and access was limited so that area was left with poor coverage till Sprint finally was able to move to a nearby building and fix coverage.
-
Those antennas on the taller building are Sprint tri-band sites (ALU B25/B26/B41), so it appears they replaced the Samsung WiMAX equipment with ALU.

does new jersey have enough PCS Even with CDMA 2000 to go 10X10
Sprint has 15mhz of PCS B block in the NYC market which covers NJ

I'm surprised more companies do not have dual SSID networks, even authenticated ones. We recently upgraded our network here and went completely wireless with the APs broadcasting a secure network which only authenticated on corporate assets, and an authorized guest network which required credentials but no device restriction.

are these cell more aim towards people on the street and ground level in buildings or do they have vertical range to for people higher up in buildings. either way it will relieve the stress on macro cells and remove congestion.
Primarily street level to relieve the capacity on nearby macro sites.

That's great to see! The best part is that without advertising, every customer walking by those areas will benefit from the upgrade. Can't wait to see the rest come on air.

cough cough Pittsburgh is Samsung..cough cough
Wasn't aware of what market OP was in

Functional? That's Debatable. But definitely not "perfectly". The equipment is the reason why Band 41 doesn't go indoors once you get past a 1000 feet from the tower in many places. Clear wire equipment makes Band 41 into a glorified Wifi Hotspot.
They need to be replaced.
It's all relative. I'm in a mixed ALU/Samsung market in NYC and it works great handing off between sites and filling gaps. I find my devices usually are on B41 70% of the time, if not more.

There are many markets where Clearwire is single carrier only. Or not capable or B41 period (ie Pittsburgh) due to the use of Motorola equipment.

I believe those will eventually will be replaced with ALU/Nokia.
-
Just wonder markets that have most clearsites stuck on 2 carriers . I like know there plans for 3 carrier and how many markets that can do it too and make a impact. This clearsites should been converted by now .
It would cost a tremendous amount of money for very little ROI other than measuring peak speeds to swap out all the perfectly functional Clearwire B41 2CA equipment.

How long will band 12,(5×5mhz)band 4(20×20mhz, band 2(20×20mhz) aggregated.. before t mobile runs into congestion(is it even possible to have congestion with that much spectrum dedicated to lte

You'd have to shutdown all EDGE and everything else and be totally LTE before you get to that amount of deployment.
-
I don't either worse case I would either go to T-Mobile or even Verizon since they have this safety feature that slows your data speeds after you hit your cap. But I hope our plans atleast stay and not for x amount of time either.

You are aware that Sprint's tiered plans all have unlimited 2G after you use your high speed allotment.

Yeah I'm disappointed too. Now hdr video support is awesome but with a battery smaller than the s7 edge I don't see it being a battery champ anyway. Still using qc 2.0 instead of 3.0. Point is there is a $400 one plus 3 that comes awfully close to note 7 in specs and less than half the price.
No S-pen though.

I believe outside of Clearwire LTE, all Sprint B41 equipment is capable of 3x CA on B41. It's just a matter of installing a new a new carrier card (which should be fast and painless) and some software modifications.
The real question is when will Sprint start replacing Clearwire equipment? Lots of major markets need to be striped of Clear equipment in order to move forward with 3x CA deployment. New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Houston, Denver, and other cities have a good chunk of B41 originating from Clearwire equipment. Sprint could definitely fire up 3x CA on a 'need' basis, but doubt that happens since their network is suffering from terrible congestion on B26/B25 in so many places that have Clearwire B41.
I would say that in major markets where there is an equal mix of Clearwire B41 and Sprint B41 sites, it's better to just leave the 2xCA in place and upgrade the Sprint B41 to 3xCA.
The drop in speeds wouldn't be as noticeable unless you're actively using 20+mbps.

Dr. John Saw (Sprint CTO) just dropped the news on the Sprint/Ericsson relationship going forward:
That was good to read. Curious what the specifics will be.

Crown Castle does work for all the carriers, so it's a lot harder to tell who is who.
Same goes for the sites which are already on-air. The only true test outside of working for Sprint is to stand in front of them with a phone in debug mode.
