  1. 6.4 (or whatever 8gb formats to) is slightly too small. Give me a true 8.0 and I would prob be just fine. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  2. Don't worry. 4.4 will address all of the issues Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  3. Could you not buy the sprint gnexus off contract?. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  4. I guess most likely scenario is that the evleak tweet contains place holder photos Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  5. South of town as well as NE are alright. Central, downtown, east Austin, and campus are head scratchingly slow Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 4
  6. is there a possibilty that this is a pre release version with a different (smaller) battery than could end up being made?
  7. so this device would support all sprint bands/technologies?
  8. I live nearly equidistant from the tower and im pretty surprised you even had a signal,
  9. none at all? is there a way around this (besides jailbreaking and side loading)?
  10. So I just read this whole thread after only being slightly familliar with the discrepancy in lte signals from phone to phone. what I believe I just read is that the Evo Lte has the same chipset (aka physical radios) as the GSIII and due to poor software settings (aka software radios/settings/tunings/etc) the phone doesn't perform as well as the similarly equipped GSIII? if so, that is much worse than my original understanding if the hardware is the same, yet the evo lte cant keep up. a software/radio update should be issued ASAP for something so simple (assuming i'm understanding correctly). If it was a hardware issue, that would be diff, but software....thats rather disappointing.
  11. didn't read thread but on the EVO LTE settings>about>network your LTE strength is listed there (RSRP)
  12. also, do you know when boomerbubba and the tech spoke? so that we can retroactively start the "in a week" time frame?
  13. this could explain why voice/sms was down for me over the weekend right? (although not near this tower- Im in East Travis Heights)
  14. Thanks, premier would get me dates of those towers upgrades, correct?
  15. which site map? I dont really trust the link below, but its the best things since Im not a premier sponsor on here. https://network.sprint.com/TX/Austin/
  16. I was at 35/mlk today and didn't see any 4G. Thanks for the update jenni_b
  17. Robert, any word on the location of those towers inside of the austin metro? I am basically smack dab in the middle of town (78704) and haven't seen anything yet. (I am on CDMA -ehrpd though)
  18. thanks again Robert, final question, how can I tell what type of upgrade each point is? I am looking for LTE towers in the central Austin Area, but cant make heads or tails of all those codes or what the RF switch numbers means. TIA. There is a Dallas LTE tower map, but I cant find one (or any of the points) for Austin.
  19. thanks for the response, so no map for *planned* 4G sites (at least for austin)? only maps for completed NV sites (and their type of upgrade) TIA
  20. so robert/s4gru, I cant seem to find the interactive map for the austin market for LTE, i saw a NV map but nothing with lte on it. is it live/up to date?
