  1. Yea, they only have those 2 commercials running here two (but i hardly watch tv). Although, I think they have another one or two since they inked the deal as NBA sponsor.. probably only running during games.. and NASCAR starts back soon, so probably another couple new ones to go along with the race season that is about to start. I would think $ is limited now that Network Vision and iPhone are in full swing. But, I would think we should see new/better advertisement when LTE is launched and new phones start showing up in a few mos. Also, I'm pretty sure they just signed deal with a whole new advertising team, right?

  2. In my opinion, the Photon was Sprints version of the Atrix 2, only better cuz it has a nice kickstand! There are rumors of a Motorola Atirx 3, and the Specs are very nice... Quad core, 2GB RAM, HD screen, and a Great battery too! I've always hoped that Sprint would bring another nice Moto device or two on board when they launch LTE. It appears Moto may be the first to answer our requests with Nice batteries. I hope they get a "Photon 2" that is comparable to this. http://phandroid.com...-in-a-good-way/

  3. I've given up hope that there will be 2500-LTE support on any of Sprint's initial LTE phones. And I'm starting to get bearish on 800 LTE support.

If that's the case, I may skip the first round of LTE phones (I was going to pay full price, so not really a killer for me.) I think I'd rather wait till they support at least 1900 and 800mhz. Assuming Network Vision can get the 3G speeds up to a constant 1 to 2 MB download speed.. I'll have no problem waiting for an LTE phone that can take advantage of both the 1900 and 800 mhz spectrum.

  4. I would like to see Sprint do better then they are now financially, and hope that Network Vision pans out as planned... I think those two things would make Sprint Great... BUT, if "elite" equates to limiting data at only 2 GB... throttling at 2GB.. and increased plan prices... then no, absolutely not. So, yea, I'd like to see Sprint do better via financial improvement and Network Vision success.. but not necessarily elite, cuz that would likely result in us getting screwed, imo. besides... i love the thrill of pulling for the underdog.

  5. This may be considered a waste-of-a-post... but, ya'll can put me on the anti-apple boat too. I really never liked nor disliked Apple, but the last 6 months or so that has changed, I really do not care for Apple at all at this point. Their repetitive law suits are just ridiculous, and, in my opinion, starting to look childish. Unfortunately, in today's market, if you throw a sticker of a half-eaten fruit on the back of any product, it will sell. I'll pass on (Cr)Apple.

Just make sure you fill out the online application within 72 hours of porting. Only catch is you have to buy the phone directly from Sprint. It worked great for me when I had my parents port onto my plan from ATT last year. Hopefully it can save someone some dough.

I, thankfully, kept my Sprint line active during these trial periods with other carriers, canceled ATT within the return period, and paid my ETF to get out of VZW's contract. I don't see myself leaving Sprint anytime soon.

However, isn't it now going to have some upside since Sprint will be able to use that 800mhz spectrum from Nextel to build out LTE and Network Vision?

@S4GRU: In regards to post 2, I definitely see your point, however, keep in mind, Moto did give sprint the XPRT.. which is the same thing as the Droid Pro. So, I like your thinking that maybe Moto is holding back until Sprints 4G LTE is launched.

So.. I'll keep my hopes up for now.. Sprint and Moto did say last summer when they announced the Photon that there would be more to come from Moto on Sprints network. I would like to see some more Moto Devices.. I hear the radios in them are great.. picking up signals where other phones fail. If not, I'll be looking for the next flagship HTC device (EVO). The (original) EVO 4G was (is) one of the best devices I've ever used or seen. (I'm sporting a Galaxy S II, EVO 4G, and Nexus S 4G now.)
