that's out of your control. It's on Sprints side. Thanks but I want to change the DNS I use while on 3G/LTE not on wifi.Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

Has anyone seen any more work going on around town? I've been n Orange park, Middleburg, Green cove springs, Normandy, and 103rd. I haven't seen any work.

Nothing in Jax, yet. Sensorly is logging much more Orlando LTE signals.

-95dBm RSSI is the maximum threshold for LTE. Depending on your LTE device, you either will have a weak LTE signal, a spotty LTE signal or none at all.
The gain expected from legacy to NV gear should be between 1dBm and 5dBm, roughly. However, some indoor coverage will be unaffected because of material types. Large metal roofs, CMU (cinder block), stucco with metal lath, adobe are brutal for RF propagation. Also some types of windows block RF, dual/triple pane windows with argon spacing, LO-E glass and LO-E² glass are especially limiting to RF.

My house is a hit or miss. I have -67dBm sometimes and then it jumps to -91dBm. My 3g speeds are 2.7mbps so I think lte will be fairly strong here.
Thanks for the responses.

Assuming only the 1900mhz band is active on both towers, would the nv have any better coverage than the legacy tower since the antennas are new?
Also if my dBm signal on 3g is -95 Rssi, would that be fairly quick on lte is converted to rssp?

Any idea what's new with PRL 54009?
EDIT: Nevermind. Saw your XDA post. lol
-
Yes and no. Qualcomm chipsets require one MCC/MNC per GEO to enable LTE.
I'm not exactly sure of these technical terms, especially the abbreviations. LOL! It's like talking to my doctor.
Pyroscott elaborated more on it though. Appreciate the responses.

I thought PRLs are a CDMA-only thing, and since LTE is GSM based, that PRLs didn't have an affect in LTE. Am I wrong?

it could be one of those bandaid fixes instead of nv.So the site at my job is getting backhaul done. Talked the the Verizon tech who was parked at the site. What was starnge though is he said he was adding T1's to the site. maybe thats not strange.Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

I'll be so thrilled when that happens. A few months ago I swear I was the only one on my tower (pulling 2.7mbps) but I can tell people are joining sprint near me because my speeds are slowing down (1.8 mbps is around the avg). It's still awesome 3g but I am curious when 4G will rollout near me.

Anyways, I'd like to get your views on this. My dad works over on old st Augustine road off the i95 exit and he's constantly sending me triple texts of the same thing. I've read that this is a side effect of network vision being in progress. Your thoughts?
Also, my eHRPD just went offline, no matter how hard I try, I cannot get connected to it so they might have just started on my tower near my house!

Thanks. My family goes to Destin every year for vacation, and I was curious if I could be getting LTE there next August.
Haha, my family goes to Panama City Beach every year so they should both be upgraded around the same time. The market is called Gulf Coast and it should appear in the Deployment list soon...hopefully.

Its amazing isn't it? I don't see how Robert does it all, he must have created a digital copy of himself(tron) to keep up with all this extra work.
I honestly think Robert is part cyborg because my brain is fried after school/work but he's got work/family and this and he's still on top of things!
-
Yes it has. I can't keep up with all the posts in the various markets anymore.
That's good, there's always something to read here.

I remember back in March of this year, I used SprintFeed as my home for Sprint knowledge. I recall one of the articles from SprintFeed citing S4gru as a source, so I decided to check that out. This site has a wealth of information and everyone in charge is hard at work. I love this site and I've become more active here than any other site. Sprint rocks and being able to see updates as often as a weekly basis really keeps the long days at work go by fast.
If you're madly addicted to Sprint info, I'd 100% recommend making a donation. The Sponsors and Premier Sponsors forums are amazing and have ALOT of user support (literally every question asked has been answered.)
So after stating all of this, I would like to throw out a thank you to all of the people in charge, Robert, AJ, and moderators. Thanks for your effort into making this site big and awesome.
That is all.

P.S. The Deployment NV list has over 217K views!!
EDIT: Not to even mention this entire site is an AD-Free experience!

exact same results as my completed tower near me. Lol the ping was high and no lte. I think they are blocking it. Time will tell.I went by the site that was getting worked on last week here's some pics and I speedtest that I did when I was there. I cycled airplane mode on my EVO 4g LTE and didn't even get a hit on my LTE record.Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2

Ericsson probably got alot of the backhaul installed at many sites during these delays so once Ericsson starts working on the antennas, the site will be done quicker. You'll see, Ericsson will get their spot in the spotlight.

Yep.

I would disregard that as the max throughput for a single tower is something like 37.5 mbps
I've seen 38/39mbps speeds before. It's entirely possible that he's getting these speeds. 3g speeds are typically supposed to max out at like 2.5mbps but I pull 2.7mbps.

I'm getting Black Ops 2, waiting for Halo 4 reviews before I decide. It looks sweet, but with a totally different developer, it can be a huge fail.
Also - My gaming career (lol career) started back when I was 2!
Snes > N64 > Gamecube > Playstation 2 > Xbox 360 (Best one so far) > Playstation 3 > PC
I've owned nearly every single handheld device, so I didn't want to clutter the list. Every single Gameboy I've owned. The Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advanced, Gameboy Advanced SP, Nintendo DS, Nintendo DSi, and the Nintendo 3DS. Also owned the PSP.
About 2 years ago I was obsessed with gaming (earning achievements over Xbox 360 games), but since then I've become a casual gamer. It's sad growing up.
