I had speeds like that one night in Sarasota after dropping off my cat. I was literally dumbfounded. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

Maybe still testing? I experienced that when they were working on the Ocoee water tower. They also are waiting on backhaul I believe. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

Sprint vs AT&T vs T-Mobile LTE via Sensorly
supersanborn replied to Rukin1's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
Thanks, I see what you mean. I'd love to know what their coverage is like where I live. DH has been talking about leaving Sprint forever, and at this point I'm happy for whatever means I don't have to hear about how much he hates Sprint :-) -
Sprint vs AT&T vs T-Mobile LTE via Sensorly
supersanborn replied to Rukin1's topic in Network, Network Vision/LTE Deployment
So stupid question, I've heard it said before that Sensorly isn't super accurate for T-Mo, but if that's the case, what app do T-Mo people use? I've been wanting to evaluate their coverage in my area as so far the only experience I've had is an (old) international Mifi of mine being unable to get 3G service in my house. -
One of my sources reported getting LTE downtown, though he didn't have Signal Check installed when he rolled through (gasp!) or sensorly, so I won't know anything about strength or where it might have been coming from until tomorrow.

Good point, long term even those who don't have triband support will at least see 1900 ease up since 2600 will help offload a lot of traffic.

Bottom line is that at some point when 1900 is fully rolled out, it will start to get really crowded and slow down. 2600 will have a very large amount of capacity and will provide much faster LTE to those whose phones support it. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

Only phone that we "know" to have support for Clearwire frequencies is the LG G2 if I'm not mistaken. The next iPhone might, but that's pure speculation on my part. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

Nice pic indeed. I never have anything with a zoom lens on me when I'm out and about, so I end up having to awkwardly take burst photos while driving by and hoping they come out :-)

I've experienced the unusable LTE in the Waterford area and I agree. They need as much capacity as they can manage there. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

It's more an implication that it's likely a shared tower, but I don't know that for sure. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

That is A LOT of racks. And we could probably spot our fellow S4GRU members just by looking for dudes obsessively taking photos of cell towers.

So the Ocoee Water tower is marked 3G only. Would explain why when I was able to very briefly get LTE the speeds were disappointing. Here's hoping whichever providers gets off its butt fast. I NEED LTE :-)
