You'd be surprised how good T-Mobile is. I have been mapping orlando like crazy with my Note 3. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk

So me and the hubby are likely going to jump to T-Mobile in November. I'll likely keep watching progress unfold, but hope the continued NV rollout goes well for everyone. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk

Oh I agree, I just know this is a Sprint only tower, and therefore am curious as to what necessitated an additional visit. I did notice that LTE was pretty craptacular today, so maybe more testing, but have no idea for sure. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk

Granted I did not read the whole thread, but it appears it doesn't cover the 900P. Agree? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk

I'm getting the fringes of it from two nearby towers, but its -112 (and unusable) at best. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4

So I noticed a few things at my tower on Apopka Vineland and Clarcona Ocoee. First, they seem to have removed the gigantic osprey nest that used to crown it. Second, there is now a middle rack of antennas that I don't recall seeing before. What's more, they look to my untrained eye like Ericsson towers for Sprint. Thoughts? I need to bring a zoom lens next time... Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4

So Sprint has begun upgrading the tower next to me (finally), but in the interim, WOW has my voice and data service gone to the dogs. I regularly switch to 1xRTT on Sprint/MetroPCS whereas before i always had a medium 3G signal. Cannot wait for work to be completed and have good data again!

Teaser: What's this aboot the BlackBerry Z30 being single band, eh?

Sadly, even being tri-band wouldn't save this phone. -

I find too that isolated towers tend to be slower than ones that are in a group of LTE enabled towers Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4

That's how it is for me in Ocoee. Tower nearest me doesn't have LTE so I get whispers of LTE from the next nearest tower. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4

Dan Hesse has it out for me I just know it! He knows if I gain tri-band powers I will consume a terabyte of data EACH DAY. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4

True, but I don't like the idea of a 16gb with more than half the space eaten by Samsung and only 7GB for actual apps, even if they did create some sort of janky apps2sd approach. Also, I've had bad luck with SD card failure so I tend to be less trusting of external storage. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4

The downtilt of the tower can greatly affect the range, which is why sometimes a tower that seems far is giving you pretty good coverage while another from a similar distance is crappy in comparison. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4

Still, I imagine with all those brick buildings it will still suffer quite a bit. Hopefully 800 will fix that though. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4

Reps typically have no idea about what locations are getting what upgrades. Not to mention, plans can and do change. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4
