  1. Well that tower is already doing LTE so it doesn't seem like it's probably Sprint... there are several carriers on that site. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  2. I went by few towers today. The towers which I've seen that have 800 and LTE are: Bridgewater, Glenn Trace Ln, the tower near 747 and Princeton, and the tower on Pleasant avenue in Fairfield near John Gray. The Factory Dr tower and the tower on seward near rt 4 are LTE now, but my phone wouldn't connect to 800 on either of them even though I'm on a prl with 800 priority. But both are doing LTE. So now you can get LTE end to end on bypass 4. This was very close to the tower on seward. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  3. RT @_krisallen: Is the a county fair? Then why charge me $2 to ride Banshee? @KingsIslandPR #banshee #KingsIsland

  4. Two screenshots sitting next to the tower @ Hamilton Mason and Lesourdsville West Chester. I feel like maybe these weren't the only towers launched with this cluster... maybe the tower down on rt 4 in Fairfield or the one on Seward rd down near rt 4. I probably won't get down there to check today though. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  5. These two screenshots were taken in the parking lot right next to the tower on Princeton Rd near 747! Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  6. Just drove up to check. Bridgewater is going lte. These screenshots were taken sitting on the exit ramp. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  7. Is eCSFB working well in the Butler County area? Or are you guys with triband phones having trouble getting and staying on LTE?
  8. Well, I'm not terribly upset by it. In fact, I'm praying Cincinnati Bell uses that money to build out actual FTTH service around here.
  9. That is the status, it is in progress. It's listed that way because I submitted a photo some time back proving it is upgraded. Now just waiting on it to be turned on.
  10. It's further back in this thread I imagine, but I have reported in the past that the Factory Dr tower is upgraded. It's marked according to it's current status on the maps in the sponsors section. If you're interested in being able to tell for yourself, see this thread.
  11. The tower on Tylersville is broadcasting 1x800. Also another 1x800 but it's only listed in signal check as Liberty Township. I think it's maybe the tower near Children's Liberty Township. It's not the tower on Lesourdsville West Chester near Hamilton Mason or the Princeton Rd tower near 747. That's very similar to what I saw when I thought 1x800 was on at the Bridgewater tower. 12. . @MVGOHIO Maybe your stupid asses shouldn't try and insult Buckeye fans to support another team? Assholes. @_krisallen

  13. For voice on your S3, I'd imagine once the tower by toris station gets 800 that will help you a lot with voice coverage down near the joyce park area. That tower is upgraded, just sorta waiting for it to be turned on. Your S3 can't get LTE on 800mhz, for that you need a triband (Sprint Spark) phone. There will be no 3g on 800mhz so I'd imagine you'll never see 3g signal improvements in that area unless they build up another tower either at Joyce park or up near Patterson Blvd where I think there is already clearwire. I'm really hoping they take the tower on Patterson and do a full NV build on it. That area could really use it imo, and it seems a possibility since clearwire is there.
  14. I don't know what companies are on that tower, I can't tell just by looking at the antennas unless they belong to sprint and none of them do. That tower is not a sprint tower. I think you're talking about the tower in Joyce Park, but I can't be for sure. The Butler County Engineers office has no Forest Lake Ln listed, I don't know where that is and google seems to think it's in Joyce Park, also it shows no street for that. If you live near there Joyce Park your sorta in a bad area for sprint service. The tower up on rt4 behind McDonalds in Hamilton and the rt 4 tower in fairfield off Factory Dr. are the two closest towers to you. Unless they convert a nextel or clearwire tower over that way, I don't think it's going to get a whole lot better for you. You don't list your phone, but if your phone can do 800mhz it'll get better especially for voice once that's turned on and you can use it. For the Rt 4 Hamilton tower it's already on. Not the Rt 4 Fairfield tower though.
  15. Yeah, I dunno, maybe my phone was being stupid too. If it was there, you're right, it's gone now. When I was getting that I was also on LTE and @ -135dBm right under the tower, but my phone refused to goto 3g.....
  16. Looks like the tower at Bridgewater is 1x800 now! Right by the tower I was seeing -60's dBm in signal check. But the address was listed only as Fairfield, OH, USA. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  17. The airwaves are a limited resource, and times are a changin'. TV stations don't simply get to hold on to their spectrum for no other reason than "they've had it forever", or even "we'd go out of business." The airwaves are a public resource, and should serve the public, not some archaic business interest. Moreover there are other technologies that may be more suited to distribution of your local news. Further, the local TV stations, just like all other forms of media (Movies, Radio, Newspaper, Music) are fighting a losing battle. Younger people don't care what you the TV gods think they should have or want, or how they should get it. Just like the Music business..... fight a losing battle, and lose. Either change and adapt or die. You can ramble all sorts of righteous words all day and it won't change a thing. Adapt or die. As far as Aereo, I hope they win. As far as TV stations and their spectrum, if technology can solve a problem in such a way that frees up spectrum and still allows the tv stations to broadcast, they have a duty to do it. If the cost is too much for them to bear, then either find a sugar daddy, or close up shop.
  18. Just drove around with Sensorly mapping for the Wasserman Rd tower. Looks like that means every inside the city limits of Hamilton is putting out LTE! Also did a speed test near McDonald's. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  19. As nowerlater said, the tower on Wasserman Rd is doing 1x800 so it's running on NV equipment. Bases on when we saw 1x800 on other area towers and when we saw LTE go live, I'm hoping by the end of this week. But I have no real information, just my gut feeling.
  20. Just saw a guy at the bridgwater and he wasn't in a typical contractors truck, but a black SUV. He was in the new cabinets. Hopefully LTE will be on sometime today from that tower. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
  21. Yeah great news. I came through downtown Hamilton from the highway just a little bit ago. Got 4g all the way through Hamilton to the westside. Nothing from the Wasserman Rd tower yet though.
  22. I also know 3rd St tower is putting out 1x800 as is the tower off RT 4 in Hamilton, near McDonalds. Did ride down to Fairfield, no towers down there with 800 yet. It would appear all towers inside the Hamilton City limits are 1x800 now.
  23. Signal Check is reporting 1x800 from the Wasserman Rd tower in Hamilton as well. If so I'm really hoping lte is knocking at our doors.
  24. I went back by the Bridgewater tower today, three NV antennas are up now. Busy day in the Hamilton and Fairfield area for tower climbers. Noticed a climber up on what I think is a Verizon tower off rt 4 in Hamilton. Then saw some climbers up on the tower Sprint is on right off rt 4 in Fairfield, they were not on the Sprint rack though and that tower has had NV antennas up for some time. Found a rope hanging from the tower on Pleasant Ave in Fairfield just north of John Gray, no one on that tower, did see guys at the base of it but it has multiple carriers. No NV antennas on this tower, but I may be able to check back tomorrow. It's located inside a gated storage place so can't get very close to see equipment on the ground. I'll also try and get to the tower near Hamilton Mason and Lesourdsville West Chester Rd to see if anything thing has been done. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk
