Just NO. If Captain Howdy screws us I can see a mass customer exodus from Sprint as many have hung in for a very long time knowing that things have been getting better and were soon to payoff in a big way.
The investors would be screwed as well, since the company would tank under the stranglehold of both charlie's iron fist and the massively over-leveraged debt. lose-lose here. Any idiot who has been trying to eek out an extra dollar in this ridiculous fiasco certainly better realize that even they probably won't be able to get out at a premium price before the entire ship sinks.
Charlie is the iceberg that will sink the GD titanic that is Sprint. Why are we letting the idiots steer the ship straight for it?

Not all Carolina BBQ is created equal. That crap up in NC is nothing compared to what we have going on in SC.
Pulled pork is known as BBQ here. Ask for a BBQ sandwich and you'll get a pulled pork sandwich. Ask for a pulled pork sandwich and they'll know you aren't a local.
And whatever you do. Get the Mustard based sauce. Vinegar and ketchup based sauces are too overbearing on the meat flavors.
Stuck on the Poor Man's HTC for now.
I prefer to make my own pulled pork in the smoker. but if i get back down south, i will try it out

Man, I wish!! Not sure Dish is worth that though
Sent from my Note II. Its so big.
The premium purchase price is to head off the greedy ones who wish to artificially inflate the stock prices in order to claim they getting screwed over in a deal (think clearwire here)
Lol, I don't believe enough of Dish's stock is publicly available to purchase. Although, that would be an awesome move for SB.
I move to have Charlie removed from the board due to a loss of faith in his leadership and ability to responsibly carry out his duties given his (pending) mental health conditions. LOL

LOL...that's just the thing. I really haven't used it constantly. Hence the concern with how fast the battery has drained, because when I started researching the phone, I saw reviews where the guys were stating that they absolutely pounded it to death all day and still had almost 20% remaining.
Once I noticed that it was running down at the rate that it is, I started shutting things off on it to see if that helped. As far as signal...most of it has been on wifi.
I'm wondering if I just got a bad battery, or if the girl at Best Buy put in a used one (speculation of course), because it did have close to 50% charge on it when she was through setting it up.
You might have a bad app. Mine will last days on end in the off chance i am using some other device and hardly touch it. There are a few apps that can help identify what services or apps are draining your battery so quickly, of course it could also be a bad battery.

I wonder which one of Ergen's lemmings got to Egan -Jones and what they promised them...
Ergen is that villain that makes big promises to get you to give him what he wants..... and when he gets his way, he laughs and shoots you in the face
Sent from my Note II. Its so big.
I think I have come up with a great compromise. Let's have Softbank purchase both Sprint and Dish ($17.5b current market cap) for a combined $39B ($21.5b for Sprint and $17.5b for Dish) and then send old Captain Howdy packing his bags for good as CEO and Chairman while having his shares bought out from under him.

I always carry a spare battery in the off chance I kill mine. It seems to only be good for about 6.5 hours of screen on time, which is very heavy usage (according to people who are not me ) compared to other devices though, this battery is nothing short of amazing. I also have a gorilla gadgets battery backup case in the off chance I run both batteries into the ground. I suppose I will be putting that to the test on my upcoming trip.

Congrats.. the Note 2 is an awesome device that can't be beat! (until the note 3 or moto-x come out ) Enjoy your endless customizations and tweaking!!... Of course you could always go the "commercial route" and switch to "easy mode" (just doublechecked mine to see if that is still a thing) but, meh
I would say try not to lose sleep and worry about it tomorrow but I know the feeling when playing with new toys... just can't put them down! (of course i'm one to talk.... looking over flight options for my july ny trip. did you know tickets can be anywhere from 1-4k? oddly the flights that are longer due to multiple layovers/connections are more expensive. wtf )

I'm not sure I believe t-mobile having 51,000 towers....
between t-mobile and metro it is highly likely. Sprint also had 10's of thousands on the Nextel side but are not keeping all of their towers.

In some ways, it's fair to say WiMax is the Sprint equivalent.
Robert from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Although sensorly separates sprint 3g, wimax and lte into separate mappings. it would be nice if HSPA+ could be easily differentiated as I always find myself making the same comparisons.

Robert, I flashed my old Evo 4g back to Sprint today from Cricket. I got it working but the sid and prl appear to still be on Cricket. I cannot get the device to update data profile or the prl, (error code 1012). Sprint data is working ok but will not pick up any data on roaming. Is there a specific sid/nid for Austin, Tx can manually put in to help fix this issue? The current prl showing is 12121. I was able to successfully update my username and that got the Sprint data working. Thanks for your help.
The old evo 4g is WiMax only so you won't see any 4g LTE. If your location is correct in your profile, you probably have Wimax in your area. I would recommend a full factory flash ruu to include radio if you know how to do that. a quick google search should yield some easy executable fixes (so long as you have the proper drivers on your computer.

Barring any future unknown issues, i see Sprint/SoftBank getting approval and closing this Summer.

If it happens on July 16th, I'll consider it my birthday present!! You hear me FCC???!

Charlie still trying to beat the national security drum:
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/dish-uses-national-security-ads-181139410.html
All that is missing is some derogatory remarks and pejorative terms. I'm waiting for Captain Howdy to slip in a dirty jap, commie bastard spy or began ranting about infamy and pearl harbor.

It is not a technical question. It is a philosophical question.
I'm sure that there will always be a usage scenario that necessitates these change. On a sad sidenote, clearly the porn industry has been instrumental in pushing forward the internets growth... can anyone say POV p@rn via google glass. It may not be Johnny Nuemonic status yet, but more and more data is pushed to and from our devices, whether handheld or not, each and every day.

Sprint (S) raises its offer for Clearwire (CLWR) to $3.40/share ahead of today's shareholder...-
Tuesday, May 21, 9:09 AM ET
Sprint (S) raises its offer for Clearwire (CLWR) to $3.40/share ahead of today's shareholder vote on a $2.97/share offer, which was widely expected to be shot down. The revised offer, which trumps Dish's (DISH) $3.30/share bid and has been sent to Clearwire's board for review, is said to have the support of Comcast, Intel, and Bright House, who collectively own 26% of Clearwire shares not held by Sprint. Nonetheless, Clearwire +6.1% to $3.46, above the offer price. Sprint +1.1%.

It's actually not a small lot..... There's 5 rows, ~50 cars per, bumper - bumper, in that part alone. There's more additional staff parking in their own little lots. Students, like me, get a 5 level garage + another huge parking lot. Good thing about the parking garage though. The 5th level is directly across from all the antennas on the water tower.
I couldn't resist, much like how now I want to make a comment on this lot being a grower vs. a shower.... maybe I should lay off the booze for a few.
I actually Google searched the lot before commenting, but couldn't help myself on the photo presented.

So I was walking to my car when I noticed people working on something so I snagged a picture. As this is a sprint site.. first thing i thought was "hell yes network vision!!" then I remembered we're not to start till next year... fml... bandaid fix I suppose.
Here ye go. Should be easy to identify the panels (especially the one that looks "newer" than the others).
@Sacramento City College if you're wondering...
That's a lot of staff for so small a lot... Sorry, I just had too

Ummm, no. I won't accept it because I will lose my PRL Write function.
Robert
therein may lie the problem.. there have been quite a few updates on all ends (Google Included) So it may be possible they didn't roll out the wallet update for you, but there may be another dependency released in the latest OTA

I wonder how many of these Ergen has filed? I think the FCC has these automatically sent to the trash by now.
I'm sure if the FCC went to GApss it would find its way to the Spam

iI just updated mine. It works fine on Stock Gnote now. NO root required. Go to the Play Store and download there
