  10. I'm beginning to doubt the end of June completion rate Edit: The running list now says October 2014...wow
  11. The east and north-east is starting to get constant LTE coverage. Still not use to seeing the LTE symbol but it is staying connected longer and longer and without airplane toggle!
  12. RT @jeffbernat: Dude, I cannot wait to get Watch Dogs this month. Been waiting for this game for the LONGEST time.

  13. I am getting steady LTE at home now!!!
  14. Some food for thought/testing....I snooped around the phone via ##3282# and found what looks like a LTE scan time field. It looks like you can decrease the time it takes the phone to search for LTE: 1.) Dialer app 2.) ##3282# 3.) edit 4.) enter MSL number (you get this from sprint) (just say you are running diagnostics) 5.) BSR 6.) Timer Menu 7.) nextLTEScan timer 8.) Mine was set to 5 (minutes?) 9.) Change to lower minute value for quicker scan. 10.) Restart the phone. Can anyone confirm if this in fact helps? I may change mine to 2-3 minutes when more towers light up in my area and/or if I travel.
  15. On my Galaxy S5 the PRL version is 51100. When I update the PRL it still stays at 51100. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help!
  16. Very nice update to KitKat on the Note 10.1 2014 Edition! Thanks! :D@samsung @SamsungMobile @Samsungtweets @SamsungMobileUS

  17. My question is this: why do we have to airplane toggle the S5 in a Spark area just to get LTE??? Sorry if im beating a dead horse here but it just doesn't seem right.
  18. Just thought I would add a link to an article from this site that was brought to my attention: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/blog/1/entry-357-nexus-5-and-lg-g2-experience-temporary-sprint-lte-connectivity-issues-due-to-circuit-switched-fallback-technology/?st=75#commentsStart Pretty much explains what I am going through and is an excellent read.
  19. Well just so happens I went through a different LTE populated area and I held LTE for quite some time. I'm ok with waiting for NV to be completed in my city. Like others have suggested, I don't think it's the hardware in the phone. It's just that the network in my area is not complete yet. I also saw someone working at a tower by my house so excited for the time to come. Love the phone and when on LTE it's pretty fast. Thanks everyone!
  20. Someone on the sprint forum said a tech acknowledged the problem and said they don't know when a fix will occur: https://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/156844?start=109&tstart=0 I just don't know what to think any more.
  21. I can't remember having this issue with wimax. My city had decent coverage with wimax and never had to toggle airplane mode on the evo 3d. I am loving the S5 in general. The battery life and screen are amazing. It's very snappy and quick with taska. I love all the settings you are able to adjust and am already utilizing the NFC abilities in my car
  22. Well i had to drive through a launched LTE network today and have mixed results....going through the city it connected to LTE and I believe it did so because I did not have 3G active like it was suggested earlier. Had LTE all the way through the city so I was happy. Then when it was time to go home it never connected to LTE the entire trip through the city on the same route I had originally came. At the edge of the city 15 min later I toggled Airplane mode and it connected instantly. I still think something is wrong. I should not have to toggle airplane mode in a LTE launched city. My prl and profile were recently updated as well. I'm just confused.
