  8. I did a speed test yesterday with Sensorly/Signal Check Pro and I had the B41(2). I was getting 30+ down. I thought that little 2 was an indication that I was on CA :/ Either way, I did more tests around town (with my new N6P) and a lot of the towers seem to be much much faster. Some locations had 50+ down! Last time I checked tower speed has been over a year so a lot must have changed in my area!
  9. OK cool thanks! Is there an app that shows what LTE band I am currently on?
  10. Hello! I was snooping around in the settings an noticed my preferred network type is set to "global" even though one of the options is labeled "LTE (recommended)". My LTE data seems to be flowing smoothly I just don't want to miss out on any LTE bands or waste battery life. Here is the pathway to the setting: settings->wireless & networks->more->cellular networks->preferred network type Thanks for any info or thoughts on the matter! Love this phone!!!
  11. Got my shipping info today woohooo!! 64GB Aluminium ordered on the Oct 29th. Based on the other forums it seems like the aluminum 32 & 64 GB are flying out! Now if only my cases and screen protectors would ship now....Yes I have a problem.
  12. WARNING: Do not buy the car charger linked in my past post! It does not look like it will use quick charge.
  13. I cant seem to find any information on the exact process of activating a nexus 6P on the Sprint network. I have the correct sim card in hand but am not clear if I have to call, web chat, or just plug in the sim. Sorry a bit new to the whole sim card thing as my S5 is my current and only phone I have ever had a sim car for. Thanks for any info on this.

  16. I have the Sprint nano sim card on order from this phone number: 888-882-4030 With this SKU: CZ2144LWC They didn't need the UPC but if you need it: 019962040146 Reference: https://community.sprint.com/baw/com...exus-5x-and-6p (the phone number is different. I tried the one in the link first and they transferred me to the number I listed above) All in all it was pretty easy and there was no charge for the 3-5 business day shipping to my house.
  17. Well I bit the bullet and purchased the 64GB aluminium version from the play store! I have never owned a nexus before. How will visual voicemail work? I guess I can do more research seeing as I have about 3 week wait time to get it.
  18. Ok thanks that is what I was thinking /hoping. I just don't want to mess with my current plan considering I would be getting a new phone before the contract is up. I kind of would like to just go month to month and buy unlocked phone from here on out tbh. Thanks! I thought I would save some money by not having the insurance. I figured the S5 would be a decent backup phone if something were to happen. I have the proper phone numbers to call for my specific plan so it sounds like I should be good to go! Thanks for your reply! I love forums (this one specifically) and abide by the rules and etiquette. Well, now I suppose I will save up and read up on how the 6P is treating everyone until they get back in stock! I have some concerns about the nano sims card but I believe I read about the specifics on the first page. I think the S5 has a different sized card unfortunately. I probably would want to order the nano one before I buy the phone just so it is ready when it arrives. Probably wont be until December now though. Thanks again for all the info!
  19. I have a couple quick question about the Nexus 6P in regards to Sprint Sero Premium plan. I am looking to get the 6P when it comes back in stock and I am in no hurry. 1.) My SERO plan is up in April of 2016. Can I swap from my old phone (S5) to the 6P that I would get from Google before that contract is up? Will my plan change at all? 2.) When my contract is up will I have to sign up for a new 2 year agreement? I've read Sprint is going away from contracts and the end of this calendar year. How will this affect SERO customers? 3.) I am planning on using my S5 as a backup phone and getting rid of the insurance plan. How easy is it to swap back to an old phone if my 6P gets damaged or lost? Different for SERO customers? Thanks a ton for any information! I love this site!!!
