No Band 41 there yet?
Less than 1M download from b41 reported.

Ahhhhhh yesssss! I was just at the game against the Sabres and it was so painful not being able to send a text to friends that were there or check twitter during stoppages for updates on injuries/stats.
We will still probably need B26 to be able to get good speeds but this I am sure will help.

Will the equipment look identical nationwide or will different vendors use different equipment? And how do we know who the vendors are for Clear/B41 in our areas?

The M8 is great but I'm looking for the phablet size so HTC One Maxx, Galaxy Note 3, and LG G Flex meet the around 6 in size and the flex is only spark of those. I believe the G3 is closer to M8 and GS5 size.

HTC One Max has spark.

Video says no voice and data at the same time on Spark devices but that you can do that with older Sprint LTE phones:
Is this completely accurate or are they missing some points? Seems like they don't have the whole story but I'm not sure.
We've known this for quite a while.

I'm considering upgrading to M8 or GS5. My hesitation is the whole no data while talking thing - I can currently be talking (over Bluetooth) while browsing or navigating via LTE on my M7. I read somewhere that the GS5 supports VOLTE, but no one uses that yet, and who knows when it'll happen. Or I could switch to another carrier. :-) Bleh! Any input from those with Spark phones? I was also reading that since Spark phones are single path, the whole switch-between-3g-4g for voice/SMS can mess with your phone's LTE connection. Anyone have trouble with that? 1. Tri-band phones will not be able to do simultaneous voice and data(except for wifi)
2. VoLTE is still a ways away.
3. When you are on LTE and you get a call, it falls back via a technology called CSFB. When the call is disconnected you get LTE back almost immediately. Texts do not require a fallback.

Now that question on my mind that remains is, has it always been like this in this area with this same device or did this just all of a sudden start happening without a new acceptance in the area?
-
Now that I think about it, I have been having a problem with a site here in Springfield on B25. It currently (still) isn't CSFB ready, and even on the .15 baseband, it will kick me from LTE, and leave me with no connection whatsoever for about 2 minutes while it rescans everything for some reason. Then repeats, kills my battery.
Well, you just killed my excitement DK.

Ya I was having the radio shut off with 26 enabled and on .15

What was it doing with B26 enabled on .15?
-
Just as I shut that off lol

What CSFB?

Anyone with a Nexus 5 on the .15 radio in and around St. Louis, be actively searching for B26 sightings.
Edit:Or anyone with a tri-band hotspot or possible G2 with CSFB disabled.
Edit:Or iPhone 5s or 5c

I got the "your area has been upgraded" blah blah etc email from Sprint yesterday. Funny thing is speeds steadily climbed in the past 3ish weeks from 50kB/s with spikes to 80kB/s to 80kB/s average with spikes up to 140kB/s. As of yesterday they were down quite a bit with 50kB/s spikes lol. My sister said she got LTE for a bit in the morning though (I keep my n5 to 3g to save battery while at home). So here's to hoping the rural sites by my house are getting some love. I can't wait to get the same network experience I do everywhere else I go!

Everything in and around Union is pretty much done. The only thing missing is Band 26 LTE which will be later this year.

I think the 2 week exclusive is for retail availability.
You can still order them from whoever is selling them online.
Now the question is, does Sprint have them in their database....we had that problem with the N5.

It does say "New Plan, New Network"

I went Monday and yesterday and confirmed all the sites in Jerseyville, Delhi, Edwardsville, and Troy. Trying to ramp up the confirmation process. Some of the problem areas are, South of I-64 in Illinois, East of I-55 in Illinois, Pretty much anywhere within the 270 loop in St. Louis.

If anyone is going tomorrow try LTE Only Mode and see what happens just for grins.
