CSFB or Donut mode on new B26 is the likely culprit.

I know, i was just covering myself from saying something that may or may not have gotten me in trouble.

Can someone give me an idea what to expect around St Peters. Going through a divorce and suddenly moving with a friend just southeast of Mid Rivers Mall. Looks like 2 blocks or so from the tower southeast of the mall. I've been paying attention to JeffCo for so long so this will be completely new discoveries for me on all bands.

This is also and area that I feel will start getting B26 soon. Plus you will have the extra coverage/capacity from the additional B41 sites out there.

Yes, all the time.

Wonder if its not CSFB enabled yet. Clear sites seem to be having this issue in many markets. Hope they get it figured out soon.

And it changes to 72 on B26?

So I noticed something. My local tower started giving me B26 and now the PCI is wrong on B25. I am sitting on the 02 side and the PCI is showing 21 instead of 241. 72 is the 01 side. The PCI when it's in B26 same sector is showing correctly 241. It's not a Signal Check issue as the LTE Engineering screen also shows 21. I don't have any other PCI 21 in my Signal Check logs as I haven't been traveling much since I cleared and imported a database.

 

On a secondary note I have 05622B02 271 in my Signal Check log on May 18 6:48pm which is Rockwood S Middle School which is the first time I've seen it again since I originally captured it a month ago one night.

It's impossible for it to be anything but B41. 

This was b25 on the .23 radio. I had to flash back due to the b26 tower near my house causing ecsfb/csfb issues while I was out running to get gas(it was 3.29 so I couldn't pass it up).

You can always set your phone to 3g only to make a call. Thats what i do.

As I suspected, its because the N5 is a beast. Especially on .15 and .17 radios.

I did run a test at the light for boones crossing (less than 500 feet from bdubs) 10 minutes after that test and it was 14mb down. Also that I ran tests at 12, and 12:30 in addition to that one at 1. The other two were 15mb down and 22mb down.

Ya I would figure my site would be super easy, but I'm starting to wonder if they plan to remove it all together and rely on b26 to reach here. Since they have done every other tower around it already quite some time ago.

They might be planning to do a GMO with it. We have seen them starting GMO's here, especially on Electrical Pylons but it could be.

My money on the last one in the market is the one in Wood River on the Refinery property. Its a very odd looking site.

I'm taking bets that my home tower will be dead last in the market to get network vision lol.

Edit: Nevermind, I was able to verify using all 3 bands. That works too but SCP is easier to go off of.

I believe the general consensus is if you publicly pick it up on your phone then it's open game

Unless you are a premier sponsor or staff, that is correct. We can't post this kinda stuff but if you are a regular sponsor or regular member feel free to post it.

I'd send you but it's only going to show my normal b25 and two known b41 locations so not much help. I'm waiting for a future import function for SCP to possibly preload locations for the site notes.

Wow, Virgin and Boost get Spark before the Nexus 5....

I have not seen any b25 at all. I've been through downtown too and didn't see any either. But that may have been because I was driving and moving too fast for it to stay in range long enough to connect.

Edit: my apologies, I read that as b41. I wasn't paying enough attention. I have gotten b25 out here before, but it was before the site logger was a feature in signal check.

I think the reason he asked is because we need the B25 info before we can confirm the B26 info. Your log showed me enough. Usually while on B26 it will flip to the B25 side so i was able to confirm accordingly. Specific info is posted in the Premier sponsor section.

Just got b26 again, but this time in Troy, MO. Even at - 110 to - 120 dB I got 6.35 down and 1.22 up. I an beyond impressed with this. I recently lost my sponsorship status (it expired) and haven't had time to donate again to check the tower, so I can't say what tower it is. But I doubt there are many out here.

If you are going to be out near Troy at all, could you turn your logger on and send me it when you get a chance?

I've used .15 and .17 before, I'm just sticking as close to stock as possible so updating is as easy as possible. I live in a very rural area so no b41 for me, no b26 sightings as of yet. I just found the first 1x800 last week.

On that note the tower in gray summit is broadcasting 1x800. I couldn't get a screenshot because my n5 kept dropping 800 for PCS.
