Have to wait 15 minutes.

No problems here. I use Google voice though.
Its definitely a google voice problem somehow. I disabled gvoice at voice.google.com and i can make calls now.
Not sure why its working for some but not for others.
-
Do you use Google Voice? The voice on the recording sounds like the same voice for the generic Google Voice voice-mail.... I can call out using hangouts and I can call *2 which bypasses Google Voice

I do use Gvoice as well as my Mom and my wife. Theirs are both working though.

Anyone not able to make phone calls this morning? 2 of us are getting "cannot complete your call, try again".

Just got this device as an upgrade from the Optimus G that I bought from Robert. I feel the LTE reception is on par with the N5 from the 1-2 days of use that I have had. I love this phone. I have always been the type to get a phone that no one else has. My only qualm is the lack of quality accessories.

I've taken Robert up on his Optimus G offer. Thanks everyone for your generosity.

I may have an evo....

OG Evo or Evo LTE?

I may have a line on one - let me check. It'd be my dad's old Samsung...
At this point id take anything that can make and receive calls and texts

Anyone got an old phone I can borrow? My N5 just went swimming....

You should be picking up -85 to -95 dBm b41 at the outlet mall, and killer b25(always above 15mb down for me outside of the mall all times of the day). Its very usable inside all the stores I've been in also.
Are you still on .15? That could be the reason you get better service.
-
I tried a Spark device, the One M8 Harmon Kardon in the Sprint by Marshall Wireless store in Collinsville. Installed SignalCheck Lite, found B26 instead of B41. Speeds were 5 Mbps on average. The other Sprint store I go to at Fairview normally had 10 Mbps averages. Sprint needs a lot more Band 41 sites over the metro to blanket the entire Metro like what they did with B26.
That's probably because the NV site is basically across the street from that store and the B41 site is on the other side of the "bluff".

None taken.
I've been away from a desktop all day & wanted to follow through with the engineering screen. Sorry.
Edit: no snark/sarcasm meant. I can see after re-reading where it could look like I was sassing ya - no sass intended.
Also, no offense, but premier sponsors are not allowed to post B26 sightings publicly...Not saying i agree with this restriction but just giving you a heads up.
-
Just made my donation. I guess I'll get to read a new thread here soon.
More than one....lol. Theres a lot of good info over there.

For all of you who are considering upgrading to premier, S4GRU is offering a $40 discount through June 30.

Just got back from a work trip to Mt Vernon. Saw quite a bit of band 26 along the way, it was pretty cool to see that for a change.
Did you happen to run the SCP log? If so please send it my way.

Hearing all the radio problems with the Nexus 5 since the 4.4.3 update has me concerned! Should I still purchase it or should I go with the Moto X?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I second what Kojitsari said. But I will add that any triband phone you get will have the same issues people with the new radio on the N5 are having. But with the N5 you have the option of flashing the .15 or .17 radio even after flashing 4.4.3

Can you identify 1X800 from the log. I had a vibration a few times that I believe was signalcheck notification of 1X800 but by time I looked it was on 1xRTT

You can see IF you were connected to 1x800 in the cdma site list, but you cannot tell exactly which site.

Band 26 near Hwy 79 & 47 in Winfield or Old Monroe. I have a few other shots along 79 coming from 70 of band 41 and possibly another 26 but it may have been this tower picking up in O'Fallon I'll sort through later
Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
Thanks. You can send me the log if you have one. Or the shots.

Does anyone know what is going on with the towers near Mason and 64/40. I have had LTE (b25) for 6 months on my LG G2, but the last 3 days it has been non-existent. If I toggle airplane mode, it will connect to LTE for less than a minute and then switch to 3G (which is unbearably slow). I don't understand all the details and what to check, so if more information is needed please let me know.
Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
Probably experiencing temporary effects of the lack of eCSFB on towers in the area. This sometimes happens when a new site pops up that was just recently accepted(or is being tested) or B26 is being activated/tested in the area.

B26= Last 2 digits of GCI will be 19, 1A, or 1B
B25= Last 2 digits of GCI will be 01, 02, or 03
B41= First 3 digits will be 048, 049, or 04A(assuming we are talking about WiMax conversions. Might be different for NV 2.0.
Also, you can just use this for reference.

If anyone has any logs they would like me to look at send me a PM. Especially those on N5 with .15.

In Signal Check Pro, how is everyone getting the LTE Provider section to read the bands (B41, B26) after the "Sprint" word?
It should be included in the newest version of SCP.

Thinking about picking one of these up to replace my G2. Are the issues straightened out yet?
