That looks like Samsung designed that as if they knew it would break or get loose, wonder if a repair store might know/can do it under warranty/tep?

Yeah all he said was he clean all his stuff off and reset it to factory. So far the Max is nice extra battery is awesome, one problem is my company wants to get me a Galaxy S5 :/

Yeah the Max was not rooted just returned to pre spark update when he clearc his info for some reason but now it's back to normal spark enabled 4.4.2 and running smoothly.

Yep I like that one better than the "take up half your notification bar lte Wal-Mart emblem"
Haha

All is fixed now thanks. Some were not on my Gmail haha. But I did notice something neat on my One Max, previous owner put it back to stock out of the box (no spark enabled) and the lte icon was the Wal-Mart start but the word lte is small and under the left part, wish I got a screenshot but it's updating now.
Edit: if you watch Android Centrals first video on the Sprint one max before he updates it it shows the icon, and I kinda like it.

Only one Google account and all on the M8 say Google under the contacts. I had the same problem when I went from my G2 to the M8 but only lost 3, this time it's a little under half but I can just enter them in myself.

Is there a way to force Google to sync contacts? I switched into my One Max and it only synced a few compared to the ones on my M8.

Just by looking at it, all three buttons on front are physical and it has a rubber bumper around the phone. And guessing it will have a better IP rating also. We won't know for sure until Samsung announces it. I'd like go get a S5 to play with but I don't want to pull the trigger before they announce this S5 Active and if it even comes to Sprint.

Just seen a video on the S5 Active, I've read the roumor that it will be a spring and att exclusive. If it comes I might have to sell my One Max and pick up a S5 Active.

no rumors on battery as of yet but less than 3300mah would not be accepted!
Well my M8 gets me trough the day with avg use and about 2:30 hour screen on time, my max is even better. So I'm thinking if they go with a 3500mah plus the Sense/ snapdragon killer efficiency it will be a beast.

Any info on battery? So far I like, my M8 might be sold or a back up phone. I'm thinking the main camera is going to be bumped up a bit, just a guess.

yeah i loved it too... Sorry we had to be a kill joy lol. But we saved you! Since you have both the one max and one m8 how is the radio reception between the two devices in similar locations?
Haven't activated the Max yet , just been setting up my stuff on it before I turn it on. It's not a kill joy, I'd rather ask and know that not know that's what makes this site awesome. A friend of mine has a Max and when we do compare they are close to each other, negligible to me. At least in my area they are. I can't say for full NV 1.0 or 2.0 areas.

Got my max and love it, a slight bit slower than my M8, other than that it's sweet. I'm gonna hold off on the power flip case due to the shorting issues really wanted one. Hopefully HTC will come out with a One Max T7

Thanks guys. I ended up getting a replacement. Take it for what it's worth, but the guy at Sprint said it was due to a busted SIM card reader.

When you get your replacement and, if they give you a new SIM card, make sure it's the same on in the phone that matches the one you have activated. Got my replacement and got perfect data in a 3g only area but when I went to a lte area that's decently strong it wouldn't switch over, turned out they never switched the SIM numbers to activate it. After that it's been smooth sailing so far. Hope your replacement works well.

Anyone have a HTC power flip case? I've read good and bad things about it but I might pick one up if I get a Max

Well uninstalled Signal check and I still get the low beep. I guess I will live with it for now. Thanks for the help!!!
Dang, I knew mine would do that and it was signal check. I honestly can't think of what it might be, only thing I can say is double check the mobile data connections. I remember a older flip phone I had would beep when it got signal and bleeped when it lost signal. It may be buried in the settings somewhere. Other than that worse case is back everything up and factory reset.

I have actually looked at the phone and monitored the switch and the low beep it makes when switching. Maybe it's my bluetooth (motorola H730), but it is definitely happening when the network is switching.
Do you have signalcheck installed? I know there's a setting in that app that beeps when it switches to and from lte. Took me a week go figure it out.

Ok might just be a stronger signal from the tower.
