All that was likely due to the update. I've had that happen before it would ramp up the cup for the update and get warm and consume a good bit of battery. After 30 mins to a hour it was fine and running smooth. Hope the update is awesome I'm still waiting on mine :-)Just curious the first hour or so the 5.0 NK2 update my phone was laggy, hot, and haad poor battery. Did the OTA update do that? After the hour, Battery life increased, and ran smoother. Was anyone able to pull the OTA link?

I've tried that before on older versions on lte and thought it had to buffer but it seemed to either take a long time or not switch to 1080p(at the time) I don't have wifi so I can't test that :/It has to buffer to that quality. If you click it once it will just take a second or two to buffer. I just did it on Wi-Fi and it worked right away.

Has anyone seen or used the seidio innocell case? I've been thinking about switching back to my M8 but the battery wasn't so good on it. Plus I've been spoiled by my battery now so going back to a normal battery will suck.

The only thing I read that I like about it is the aux cord recognition. I won't expect lollipop until Jan/Feb ish. But thanks for the heads up.12/1 is the day we get an update (not lollipop) http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/11/26/sprint-lg-g3-and-g-flex-to-get-ota-patches-with-international-wi-fi-calling-starting-on-monday-december-1st/

Not sure if this is a Sprint zone thing or G3 thing. Thinking Sprint zone, but anyone else with G3 have working trouble ticket info?
Edit:
I'm in central Alabama.
Mine has said stuff like that before not only on my G3 but my M8, S5, and G2. I've only seen it once per phone until I had my S5 the longest then I seen it a few times. But I do kinda like the makeover that Sprint Zone has now.
On another note just waiting for the 5.0 update. And if anyone is wondering how the battery life is with a Zerolemon all I can say is great, I average 80+ hours off the charger with over 8 SoT. And that's no wifi on and auto brightness set to 100% with a mix of standby and usuall social, we, and gaming. Bow just ready for the 5.0 update to see if it gets event better battery life with project Volta.

Nice view. It's that time of year again haha. Where is that at? I like my Carolina fall trees when I'm wheeling around.I'm actually in awe so far of camera performance.

Yeah, when I had my droid x2 I never had a problem with it. This is the 2nd glitch I've ran into with the G3. Hope it was a one time thing though. It's always something. I wish you could just buy a device that didn't have any glitches.
Mine started a new phenomenon just a few days ago. After I knock twice on the screen to wake it up for use, the screen stutters for a second, the factory installed weather widget disappears then reappears. Hope it doesn't keep that nonsense up.

Yeah I'll wait for reviews and real world results. My G3 has great battery life, I average 18 hours with about 3 sot. I'm hoping that the nexus 6 with Volta and the huge battery will be a good performer and the aftermarket gets some good rugged cases for it.In terms of your comment on true battery life, I've learned to love, trust and never buy a phone until I read the GSMArena battery test results for a device. Their reporting on 3 different battery metrics: talk time, web browsing and video playback with an overall endurance rating score continues to amaze me in how accurate it is for the devices that I've owned . Their test for the Nexus 5 accurately reflected my battery experiences with that device and the frustration that I was having related to general browsing. It also accurately describes the massive battery difference in the browsing category between the Nexus 5 and the LG G2. I ended up selling my Nexus 5 and buying the LG G2 based on their test results and I have not been disappointed. I actually went with the G2 over the G3 because their results show that the G3 took a step backwards in its battery performance for general web browsing.

Well this phone seems like a beast. My 2 questions now are 1) true daily battery life 2) and a good case like a defender. I'd love to have a nexus 6 but can't go with out the defender case.

That's the only reason I'm thinking it's a software issue. My Bose, Sony, and Yurbuds all work fine no problems or weird noises. But when I plug it into my truck it sees the cord as being plugged it but as soon as I try to play anything on Pandora or Google play music app it disconnects and plays through the phone. I do have a cheap wind up cable but it has work fine for my Galaxy S5 and One M8.
