mine did that for a portable speaker i had.....plugged it in, showed the line cord, then the head phone then disconnected...took me about 5 minutes of in n out..(ok sounded wrong but you know what i mean) and then it took..

 

i think i am going to google it see if its a known issue....have you??

I remember reading on some forum about a quite a few had the issue. I haven't tried the plug and unplug until it works method. I just plug it in and if it doesn't work then I use Bluetooth but doesn't sound as good. Mine might work 2 out of 10 tries. But if I plug in a headset or headphones it works like a champ. Only the aux is giving me problems so far.

because wiggles or bumping screwing it up sounds like a plug issue

Yeah I'm leaning towards some units being defective. When I bought my HTC one m8 straight out it had a defective radio( my luck haha) but mine seems to disconnect. When I plug it into my trucks radio it will recognize it but when I click play on Pandora it disconnects for some reason.

yup i have been having problems to...thought it was the cord.....uhhh nope its the phone, you have to unplug and replug it in.....i dont think its a update fixable thing though....Because when you bump it, it messes up......

 

might have to take it into store

I hope Sprint and Lg pushed a update to fix the headphone Jack errors, I can't even use headphones or my aux cable 99% of the time. Very annoying.

I've played videos that were 4k, that could be played in 1440p. Some nature ones and many MKBHD videos but the highest I see is either 720p or 1080p. A lot of people are saying the Sam's on the latest youtube update.

Anyone notice no 1440p on YouTube quality options? I was sitting outside with this great weather so far watching videos and wanted to cranking up but couldn't. I am on lte so that shouldn't be a problem, and I have went to a few videos I know that were able the play in 1440p before.

Judging by what I've skimmed in this thread, it sounds like the G3 is a worthwhile upgrade from the Nexus 5? Any Nexus 5 to G3 upgraders who regret making the move. If so, why?

 

I'll probably wait until the Nexus 6 announcement, but if they don't ship something smaller than the 5.9" "Shamu" I'm leaning towards the G3.

 

I'm generally happy with the Nexus 5. My biggest beef is battery life. I'll hand the Nexus 5 down to my wife. She dropped her Evo 4G LTE and messed up the screen and I think she should have a tri-band device, too.

The G3 is great. Although I've never had a nexus period so I don't have any personal experience with one. I will have to say the G3 has killer standby time. I got 40 hours with roughly 3+ hours sot. Although that was mostly not using the phone due to being under the weather, and I was on cell network no wifi. I usually average 16 to 18 hours with 2 to 2 half hour sot. But using the screen will kill the battery quick but not as much as many people think it dose. I love it, I'm thinking about getting a zerolemon battery + case for it once the reviews come it because you can never have enough battery haha.

Yeah. I use the lg clock/weather for a quick look of temp and forecast but if I know it's gonna rain or the clouds look like it I'll check weather bug. I checked the ksl and it's not loading right either.

so it seems as if i am having issues with certain video rendering....

 

can a few of you do me a favor and go to the play store and download these couple weather apps, then run the radar loop....for what ever reason mine freezes up and wont finish it out....doesnt matter on wifi or lte....

When recording UHD dose the phone save the video on the micro sd card or the phones internal storage? I remember my S5 stating it had to be saved internally. Just took a quick UHD video and man it logos amazing, also how long can I record the UHD. I know some phones will stop after 5 mins due to many factors. Thanks all.

This phones stand by time is crazy. Went 2 days of battery(40 hrs from Monday morning to Tuesday night) and still had 16% left with over 3 hours of screen on time. No WiFi all on the cell network love this phone.

Zerolemon has there battery and case coming out the 30th (unless they move it back again) it's 9k mah, I don't have a problem with batter but still thinking about getting one because you can never have enough battery.

Haven't had a GPS issue, I never had one on my g2 either guess I was lucky. The get is a beast, I've been using it pretty hard today since 9 am showing off to friends and such and I still have 56% battery life left. Stand by time is crazy good, I don't see how many reviews say the battery is not that good, it's on par with my s5 so far and better than my m8.

Just got my G3 and the screen is amazing. And it's light as all get out, to me lighter than my S5, even with both in a defender.

Thanks, must have missed that. Having no Internet at home sucks, you can only do so much with 3g haha. Now all I have to do is wait for a release date and some reviews on it.

Any news come out on a Sprint version of the new X? I love Motorola phones, kinda want to wait for the new Nexus. Although I could get both..... but I'll pass on that. Kinda hoping that the Rf performance on the new Moto X is going to be a beast.
