  1. When I'm on 1xrtt is that 2g? Would it be easier for law enforcement to capture my data if I'm on a 1xrtt connection? I only ask because my area is covered with B26 and B41 yet for some reason I'm always on 1xrtt until I update my profile. Then I hop onto B26/B41. What could cause my Note5 to keep dropping to 1xrtt when I'm covered by B26 and B41?
  2. I wonder if they are Stingray devices or law enforcement fake towers. Could they belong to the other cell phone carriers?
  3. Without going back and wading through posts, has anyone figured out what the unknown 0dbm neighbor cells are? Thanks!
  4. I know. I'm kidding. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  5. Obama is messing with my live stream? How can I fix that? Do we have to call Sprint? Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  6. I've updated my profile till I was blue in the face. Sprint advanced tech support reset my ooma and lte settings. Let me ask you guys this, if someone, whoever fbi police were to send my device a fake prl to connect to their towers, would this cause issues? Also how could I get rid of their prl and overwrite it with sprints? Man I'm getting paranoid here I better put on my tin foil hat. I am stuck with crappy upload. I was on Band 41 getting 40 to 50 megabit down and my upload was .200. Another area with 16 down I was getting 0 upload! How's that even possible? 0 upload happens a lot! They must really be hacking my phone. I have no other explanation please help! Sitting here getting 71 megabit download and I can't crack 3 to 4 meg upload. Is sprint spark upload supposed to be this slow on Band 41. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  7. Anywhere 3g is I can't use it. Nothing opens or it takes abysmally long. Running speed tests I don't get above 5mb/s ever on lte anywhere strong signal or not. Bartlett ave in Marlborough is 0 coverage. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  8. I generally use my phone in the Worcester/Boxborough/Boston route. I am always getting crappy upload speeds. No matter where I go I can't get above 5mb/s. Its always at .5 to 3 90% of the time. Is spark this slow? I am using a brand new note 5 and thought the upload would be a bit better than this. 3g is completely unusable other than making a phone call. Is anyone else getting poor upload speeds? The signal bar bounces like crazy at times. Using Tapatalk takes 3+ seconds for a simple post. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  9. Will the iPhone 6s utilize sprints spark network? Also do iPhones work as good as Android phones on Sprint's network or do Android phones perform better? Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
  10. I am having issues with delays in traffic on the spark network. Everytime i click on something that requires online data the spark icon just sits there without turning and then maybe 3 seconds later - 4 seconds it starts turning and there is a big time delay. What would cause the spark icon to not even spin when accessing online content? Sent from my LGLS991 using Tapatalk
  11. I say the end of Oct we'll get 4.4.4. With this release being messed up so far on Sprint, I think there is an underlying problem. We'll be lucky to see it in 2 weeks. That's my .02 cents.
  12. So the only way to adjust the lte scan timer is through the radio firmware? I thought someone on here posted that you need to get the MSL from sprint and there way a way to do via dialing a ## number and adjusting the settings there. No?
  13. Last question, what is the hierarchy of the lte and spark bands?
  14. How can I increase the scan time? What would be the best interval? And how can I get my MSL code without calling sprint or rooting my device? Thanks!
  15. Would adjusting the LTE timer from 30 to a lower setting help? I'm not talking some crazy low setting just maybe set it to 15 from 30. Honestly this really pisses me off that Sprint's network is doing this. The S5 is a flagship phone and them selling it in 2014 knowing it would be on 3g isn't right. So basically until the towers in my area are upgraded, I am stuck without auto switching networks? Let alone the entire state? I don't want to be a dick but come on.
  16. This is still happening on my S5. Has there been a fix issued yet? This is getting old. LTE discovery is great for power cycling the radio. But this should not be happening, let alone in 2014. Anyone?
  17. I live in Boxborough 01719. Band 26 is available here. Not too strong but it's here. I am a newb to all of this. Is Band 26 the latest and greatest?
  18. I live in 01719 Boxborough MA. And there is no 4g. Yet for a stretch of maybe 4 miles on the highway there is. Why that is, is beyond me. Does anyone know what Sprints plans are for rolling out 4g in MA? I don't want to sound rude but I'm about to switch carriers because of the slow 3g and lack of 4g. Anyways thanks for the help.
