  1. the excuses are the same crap I would get due to networking issues...
  2. agree 110% -- I don't care about voice calls in the first place. Data is king in my mind. But if a carrier has deadspots esp near highway exits and on ramps this day in age I sort of blame the carrier. Now if half of the carriers have no issues in that same spot then I blame the one that fails.
  3. see thats the age old riddle for Sprint - once they ______ <this time its 8T8R> they will be better. Which makes sense - but I have been burnt by that logic. At least where I live, travel etc... my area is fully optimized 800/1900 LTE and 3G and I still drop calls on my commute --- Where as the duoploy just works (in my use case)
  4. come to the NE area of the country and 2.5 B41 I doubt will work….. I can get B41 for about 1000ft radius — some areas where Sprint has the towers to make it work AWESOME yes!
  5. maybe SoftBank's engineer's figured out that Band 41 isn't the answer for all locations. I know thats not popular around here....
  6. couldn't selling some 2.5 help fund the upcoming 600 spectrum wars? Or maybe help ease a buy offer for Dish?
  7. yeah - the person I have been working with said there is a known issue with no time to resolve. at least it sounds like a real answer, espeically with what you folks are saying. He had me do the force update too...
  8. i’ve been working one person since Saturday — and I feel bad for Sprint employees — I mean Sprint has some of the worst follow through, both public and internally was told i’d be set today at noon… nope.
  9. i totally relate and agree with it... just set the tone - rather than giving out mis information.
  10. Apple followed what their partners requested. could it be Apple sure. BUT i would have assumed other telcos would have the same issue. but nope... I called AT&T to unlock an iphone a couple years ago. took 5 minutes and about 2 hours later my phone alerted me.
  11. I'll agree to disagree Honestly I think it would not be an issue if Sprint had trained people on it. Again Sprint doesn't have to much of the work here... I mean if AT&T, VZW, and other international carriers know what Apple requires - So should Sprint. The date should have little to do with since Sprint has known for almost a year... in fact they should have known ever since they carried the iPhone. I guess if Cricket wasn't offering that amazing deal currently I wouldn't be in such a hurry.
  12. why? Because some people might want off of this train wreck, might want to sell a device, might not understand why this didn't happen earlier - especially since Sprint doesn't have to do much. but hey I know its not a public forum so my apologies delayed. drama aside -- it would be nice to be able to reuse your device on another carrier.... does that seem fair?
  13. that rant over == if anyone gets an iphone 5c and above unlocked with this new system please post :-)
  14. i called 5 times today and a different answer each time - and all total bull%^& once my phones are unlocked by sprint/apple -- I may finally just leave due to this company having no clue! hopfefully they will send an auto generated text in the next 48 hours I highly doubt they will....
  15. no doubt improvements are here. But data speeds on the root chart is telling. I'm overall much happier as well since this time last year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. yup I thought they upped it. http://cricketwireless.mediaroom.com/index.php?s=20306&cat=3189 Honestly I heavily doubt I'd switch - mostly due to device cost. More than anything. And I'm really interested to see if Marcelo and SB can turn it around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I think LTE is 12, in theory you'd think they would want you to drain that bucket quick lol. 20gb for $55 including taxes is appealing. Honestly I don't care about 60mbps down I've seen with Sprint. 4mbps with reliability is more important I THINK.... Again not bashing here. Just venting lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. This is what makes me want to switch to Cricket... I can drive a few hundred feet and it goes to 3G at 600kbps :-( Just wish for a more consistent data network Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I use to believe that - still do to an extent. But customers are about as loyal (or anti loyal) as the the savings kick in. A few years ago if that long TMO was a hot mess. Well its network still is yet people love them for their bravado. I suspect if sprint ever gets its 3rd world network back to its glory days. And if they offer a compelling plans. Customers will come in droves. Why, loyalty.... Nope because we the people love a bargain. Especially if they convince the customer they will be giving it to the duopoly. 20. nope I suspect all Sprint needs is that 1/3 The other products may help drive traffic and the big sign outside will say Sprint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Well no one - especially anyone here, should ever be surprised at tone [emoji12] The article may or may not be correct But from a shoppers point of view, the majority of the time when I'm at a store where all four carries are sold. Majority of the time if you ask about TMO they say woah why do you want them. How about sprint - hey they are just as bad but cost more. What you want is (insert your favorite duopoly here) Now when you go to any carrier owned store they obviously only sell their own. This is where Sprint sucks - at least where I live. My closet store was 18 miles - closed that store over a year now. I think I need to drive 30miles now if not further. Granted not every shops at a store - but maybe I'm just getting old. But I link it to brand awareness- if sprint doesn't have any stores near me, how much confidence do they have in their network! I think it's a good move. Okay I'll stop my rant [emoji15] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
