  1. I just got kit Kat! Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  2. Any word on when KitKat will make it to the G Flex? I just got the update for my wife's G2 and it fixed every problem we had with that phone!!
  3. I have been fairly satisfied with the Flex. I just wish I could find a holster smaller than this Otter Box defender. Wi-Fi pickup is excellent, and LTE is pretty good too, but I haven't gotten any 800Mhz reception mainly due to my area being okay on band 25. Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  4. Nope, haven't run into that issue. Are you doing visual voicemail? Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  5. So I've been poking around and can't seem to find a DLNA app on the Flex. I used this app extensively on the Optimus G to get music and video from my desktop. Am I simply missing something or do I have to try and find a third party alternative? Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  6. All bands were still enabled. I will try this again when I'm up in Cleveland where III here some band 41 is up and running and see what happens. Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  7. Doesn't the Nexus have HD voice capability? Once you hear that, everything from every other phone is garbage! Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  8. Even more, the sparkle icon does not mean you are on the Spark network. It just means you are on LTE. At least that is how it works on my LG Flex. Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  9. So after adjusting my band priorities to 26-1, 41-2 and 25-3, I was in a know band 25 area, and it wouldn't pick up LTE for nothing in the world. As soon as I adjusted the priorities back to stock, I could pick up LTE easily. Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  10. With HD voice, you can hear all the s and c sound so clearly, so must more high frequency response. But when using a Bluetooth in car system, the quality took a dump because I don't believe Bluetooth headsets are specified to have the same bandwidth as speakers. Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  11. Fantastic! My wife has a G2 and I got the Flex and even with her on speakerphone it was crazy how clear the sound was great it was. Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks a bunch bmoses! Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  13. I still haven't been able to get to the band priorities screen. When I ever the dialer code, the hidden menu shows up, but there are only a small selection of menus to choose from... Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  14. I certainly expected more activity on the Flex forum. So that means either the phone is perfect and no one is having any issues, or the sales are really low. I know it just came out last week but I only know if a few owners. Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  15. Looks like some kind of narrow band codec. I've never seen that before either! Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk

    Cracked G2...

How much did that claim cost you? Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  17. Yeah, they both need the capability, but that codec won't be used if the base stations and other handset don't have HD capability too. Here is a screen grab of my debug screen with me calling a landline: Note it says EVRC instead of EVRC _NW. Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  18. It seems like they did! They can flip a few more switches, and I wouldn't mind as long as they flip the switch to on!
  19. While in a call, do a three way call to ##debug# and you will see a screen like this: My wife and I had an HD call today. She was on the G2 and I was using the Flex. Where you see the SO designation you can see it says EVRC_NW. That is HD voice. It was so clear and she was on speaker phone in the bathroom doing her hair. There was no echo and it was perfect! Then she moved to her car and used the car Bluetooth and it went to hell! Probably because the car circuitry is always expecting just 5-8 KHz bandwidth, not the 16 KHz that HD voice uses. 20. On my old Optimus G, the signal strength bars did not accurately display LTE signal strength, just 3G strength. I was just happy to report that the Flex signal bars are accurate for LTE.
  21. Just in case you were wondering about battery life, take a gander at these numbers Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  22. It's very difficult to take screen shots with the Flex. I've only managed to press the power button and the volume down button together twice! Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  23. Well I'm going to grab my G2 and give it a shot! Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  24. It appears the bars for signal strength accurately depict true signal strength on the LG Flex. Sent from my LG-LS995 using Tapatalk
  25. There are a ton of apps out there that allow very similar connectivity for free. I'm pretty disappointed that Sprint charges for this app, even more so because I just bought an LG Flex and a LG G2!
