  1. T-Mobile will pass Sprint for the number 3 spot but there's no denying that 2015 will be the year of T-Mobile and Sprint making dents in some fashion into Verizon and AT&T. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Wow it would make sense to add hspa as a LTE fall back. Because falling from LTE to 2g is a hard drop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I would hope not because the switching between LTE and 2g would be bad. But that'll also be sloppy deployment just to get a LTE signal out which I just can't see happening cause that'll mess up their name that they've worked to fix. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Ohhhh ok I never knew that it was bad. I guess the good thing is that they will in fact come back and fix it within a reasonable amount of time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. What's wrong with GMO 1900 LTE? Is T-mobile using that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. There's nothing wrong with being in the 20s I think it's also great. Its more than enough of what you need to do data related tasks on your phone. It's just from my testing and also being in a wideband market that all my speedtests have been all over the place and not so much consistent around my city. Going in I have/had a expectation of seeing the speeds other T-Mobile customers say they have and the marketing of T-Mobile. In Columbus sprint and T-Mobile are the same. But it's neither here nor there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Yes. I get four bars at home but when I dropped to two bars speeds took a major dive. I was in some 4 bar areas and the speeds were in the 20s. I think it was a rush job in some areas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I got a test drive iPhone in the mail today to test the network. Now while I applaud T-Mobile for what they have done to the industry and how fast they have been able to deploy LTE and wideband in Columbus. From my personal testing, the speeds are all over the place and not too consistent. In my house I pull 50+ max was 63 but leaving my house and driving down the street I dropped to 20mbps and driving more I saw 3mbps, some tens. It makes me think that they just slapped on LTE and turned it on and moved to the next or they just put wideband on some but not all towers. Sprint in my area I get 40mbps in my house but driving around I would drop between the 20s and low 30s. Sprint is a slightly more constant in my opinion. But they just don't have the raw speeds in my house that T-mobile has. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. It will happen but I never understood the obsession with T-Mobile surpassing Sprint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I feel that at the end of the day it's all about what carrier works for you and your own personal needs. But also just being content with what you have. Each carrier has good and bad spots and each carrier will try to one up each other with perks and stuff. If people get enticed by perks every time they will constantly switch and will never become satisfied and will pick on the smallest thing to switch to the next carrier. And the fascination of carrier rank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I agree but it just seems like now that the speed test app makes or breaks a carrier which is sad. Faster and faster speeds is more important than a reliable experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. But the speed test app is whitelisted though correct? It takes priority on whatever tower when the app is being used? It shows 40+ but is that the users actual speeds? I'm on b41 and my speeds are between 20 and 30 but it seems more realistic with the speeds depending on the time of day. T-Mobile is a marking genius they grabbed people's attention but they also have embedded into people's minds that you need 30+ in data speeds to have a workable phone. I like T-Mobile as a whole due to them changing the rules but I would rather see my actual speed than some prioritized number. On my mothers T-Mobile iPhone 5s she has 1gb of data but she rarely uses the data on phone so I used up her 1gb (don't judge me) and I got the text about reduced speeds. So I then ran a speed test and I still got results well into 50+ and not the reduced speeds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I just started listening to it last night. I'm on episode 4 now and man this is some good stuff. Sad situation though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. That's because it shows signs of life with sprint and that they kept to their word. They rather not report the good but the bad instead. But I'm sure if sprint didn't make their goal that it'll be all over the tech blogs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I am glad sprint kept to their word when it comes to the network. I'm sure in 2015 sprint is really going to kick things into high gear with the network since they don't have to worry about the whole merger thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I like the idea of the data rolling over and this could spark unlimited coming back or atleast a similar practice of data carrying over from the other carriers. When John was asked about gaining new customers and the speeds going down, he danced around that question as though he knows its coming and he's just enjoying the title while it lasts. I'm also shocked he said little to nothing about Sprint.
  17. Oh ok. I just also checked out that link about it and the coverage map will look identical to Verizon and AT&T. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  18. Oh the roaming agreement with the smaller carriers. Will that be considered native coverage or roaming? Sent from my iPhone 6+
  19. Does sprint have any plans of expanding their footprint past what they already have now? Sent from my iPhone 6+
  20. Wow I never knew that they were expanding their coverage. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  21. The kick mstand on the phone is great but I wish it was more stiff. My only two complaint of the case is that the hole for the ringer/silent switch is kinda small which makes it hard to get to the switch. I'm not able to use my thumb do I have to use my index finger. If you don't have nails then your at a disadvantage. The service is that the case makes the phone look a little bigger but not too much. Besides those two things I honestly like the case. 22. Any leather case or the Apple leather case? Sent from my iPhone 6+
  23. I have the regular 6 but I just bought the 6+ and I love it (should have gotten it from the beginning) this phone feels more like a upgrade from the 5s. Anywho, I went to Apple and bought their silicon case which I really like when I also have a spigen case with the built in kickstand. I like that case also but it makes the phone look bigger and I hate that have to dig to get access to the ringer/silent switch. So what cases do people on here recommend who have the 6+? Sent from my iPhone 6+
  24. Oh ok gotcha. I am curious to see the percentage of reliability for T-Mobile only because they only tout they are the fastest and nothing else. Sent from my iPhone 6+
  25. That's true. Did the article speak on the reliability of the networks? Sent from my iPhone 6+
