  1. I wouldn't say they are slow. From the month that I had them I was between 11 and 20mbps which was more than what I needed. But I would say they have a consistent experience across the board from my time with them. I wonder how much has changed since the last time I had them more than a year ago. I might go pick up a go phone sim since they have unlimited data but slowed after a certain gb. I wonder if they will have that same policy here soon on post paid accounts on the higher data plans I think that'll be cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Wow what a change from 4th to 2nd. These are the results we need when testing in the majority of markets. Sprint held its own very well in every area. Getting these numbers will definitely put people on notice and helping fix the brand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. So Sprint is the official carrier of the NBA or am I just late? I'm more a college bball guy myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I just don't understand it. I guess by them giving out that info they want people to feel jealous or in a way lesser because they don't have unlimited data which I'm sure a large fraction of people don't care. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have a question for someone on here who has T-Mobile service...why is it that whenever a carrier like Verizon or AT&T makes changes to their data offerings and it makes the news. Why is it always comments from T-Mobile customers that state how much data that have used either last billing cycle or currently or data speeds they are getting? I just never understood what that has to do with the topic of the article? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I agree 100% and that's probably why there is just a msl for the android phones on that list. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. They are probably thinking your going to leave sprint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I agree. Either they should have tested it out a little more before deployment to work out any kinks or since it's already deployed they should focus a little more on it to get the drop rate down. In my friends case, he had a interview and the call dropped. I'm sure they will work it out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Probably. I know my friend in Chicago he has T-Mobile and has volte and when we talk on the phone his phone drops the call a few times. I had to tell him to cut off his lte for calls cause it's not too reliable yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Cool so sounds like for my iPhone 6 that I paid full price for that I'm currently not using I would need to call in and get it unlocked. Cool beans! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. 1. I see when Sprint wins or anything positive surfaces it ruffles feathers and people can't handle it. 2. For Legere to shout out this article that is 100% in his favor shows how he wants things on his terms and because he places 4th nationwide he deemed the results are not relevant. There's clearly a pride thing going on here. Gotta have that ego boost to make him feel that the network needs no work. I understand and applaud T-Mobile for what they have done but come on I see the results as a template for each carrier to see the areas in which they need to improve on. But that goes to say even though they have gained a crap load of customers in such a sort time I wonder how many want out do to coverage issues but can't due to the installment billing being so high? Even though Sprint has a bad name so does T-Moblile and are more fragile because they have the rep of not working outside of cities so people are willing to take that chance and are more easily ticked off if something is not working and then want out but the EIP keeps people locked in owing hundreds. 12. Yea I know I've been seeing it all day but I'm sure if it was the other way around and T-Mobile came out ahead of Sprint OVERALL then it would call for a celebration. But I'm really shocked at how the tech sites have gave sprint their credit. T-Mobile just got caught slipping simple as that and shocked everyone else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Hopefully this is officially the start of perceptions changing about the network being trash. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. http://bgr.com/2015/02/10/t-mobile-vs-sprint-network-quality/ Tides slowly turing when it comes to network impressions but the article picture was hilarious in relation to the title. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Besides the data speeds, Sprint held their own overall. I was looking at the article on phonearena and was shocked they came in third I was expecting T-Mobile to take. So T-Mobiles network is not all too reliable and that speed is one thing but if you don't have a all around reliable network it won't go for much. Sprint will absolutely do well in 2015. I'm happy with the results shown. BUT I know people will find a way to discredit Sprints results. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Hmmm well there's the catch. You want more channels then you have to pay $5 for how ever many channels per pack. I think I'll just use the 7 day trial and then just cancel out until it becomes more developed. But it does sound like a good product once it matures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I just got my invite today but haven't signed up officially. Is it even worth trying out? Channel wise how many channels do you actually get for the $20 a month? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I know when I got the iPhone that I called sprint to see if I could get the iPhone plan and the rep asked for my order number and he called apple to verify if I did pay full price. And within a hour I got a call back and they said that I could get the plan but I guess they had that already worked out. Oh well I'll just play things by ear. I don't plan on leaving sprint but it would help out a lot if I did plan on selling one of my iPhone's especially since sprint has that mother of all iPhones 6s Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  19. Exactly. We all just have sit back see what dish does if anything. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  20. I can see him saying that cause T-Mobile was a mess at the time. That's going to be the gamble with dish buying them they would have to come and make profitable changes to the company. I think because of how consumer friendly T-Mobile is that any type of change backwards could mess them up. It's a double edge sword. Not saying that the company is at the mercy of the customer but they are. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  21. That it would my only thing would be if dish is allowed to buy T-Mobile would he keep john and the current programs T-Mobile has. Or just do away with them for new customers but existing will be able to keep their benefits. Dish wants to see a large profit per quarter. But who knows but it's all eyes on dish right now. For all we know they may shock everyone and use the spectrum for themselves. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  22. They would probably just hoard it the way sprint is hoarding their 2.5 for future use. Vzw has a network layout that don't need fix and have customer numbers to prove that. If this is the case it'll be the battle of the cdma carriers how's going to come out on top. I thought dish and sprint had some type of fixed data service with 2.5 or whatever going on? Or has that ended? Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  23. Gotcha. That could go either way with vzw. They could just keep it all to make T-Mobile suffer slowly or they will sell some at a inflated rate. Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  24. Why would vzw buy dish besides for its aws4? And why would I be game over for T-Mobile? Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
  25. I can agree. Columbus has come along way and everyday there are changes. I can also say that I've made some Sprint believers out of a few of my friends around town. One switched from Verizon and she sees no service difference except at her job where she was only getting 3G in lower part of the hospital she now has lte. Two T-Mobile customers one my brother well he just got fed up with them lying and saying nothing was wrong with the tower and there went back and forth for 3 weeks about it but he sees a difference in service call wise and my friend when we went out of town to Nashville and I had lte about 80% of the trip and 3G 20% and he would have lte only coming towards major cities other than that he was on 2G and he ended up switching while we were down in Nashville. But anywho it just goes to show that Sprint is not trash like it was 2 years ago but it's just getting people to try it out and to break that assumption that Sprint doesn't work period.
