  1. I feel as though they need to be called out on this. I’m sure the other carrier had problems and that’s to be expected but Sprint was just on a whole other level with the maintenance, over 2k orders got cancelled in the system and whatever else that went on. That’s the reason why shipping times are still good over at Sprint. They really have to do better. They really have to do something with that site ASAP. That’s ridiculous with the amount of past layers and looping. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Was able to place my order via Sprints site but didn’t get a confirmation number even in the email. Who knows. ??‍♂️ Also, Why in the world is Sprints app in maintenance at a time like this? Boy these Sprint devs have to be some of the worst. I still don’t understand as to why the website has so many skins from over the years. Very clunky site. I understand that they trying to save money but never short change your product such as the website. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I think so that and from there they would've had to tweak the keynote for that feature to reflect that tweak. so I would think what we saw was the tweaked version of FaceID. If it happened after the keynote that would be a media firestorm about how Face ID is not working as they presented it.
  4. Taking a Fi route will be much clearer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Exactly! At least on T-Mo end they always announce a week in advance that they are doing their Q earnings. What I did notice today is that John also posted a video saying that this video was a good way to keep everyone focused on the results and not the rumors going around daily. Traditionally too, Sprint normally does their Q earnings at the start of a new month and never in the same week as another carrier. In a way the writing is all over the wall. If Son does announce it, the Sprint brand has to go. there's no ways around that. It's sad at the same time that we may possibly see a company this old go bye bye.
  6. "Message from management" If history is anything to go by, when Sprint hypes things up and actually announces its not really what we think it is. If this is indeed the actual announcement of the merger, I could honestly see Son doing it. I just don't see why they cant do a full blown Project Fi type thing with both networks but remain separate. A merger of this size is def going to take some time to review...if it gets that far...probably the reason why its a all stock trade as of now.
  7. That’s did see! The skyline was filed with cranes which was pretty amazing to see when entering the city. Sprint overall is pretty decent in Nashville but once small cells and macro cells hit that City it will be amazing there. I wish I had time to see how the service was at Opry Mills mall. Last time I was there I saw my LTE drop when going into some stores. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I’m currently in Nashville at Tennessee State University Homecoming at the Nissan stadium and Sprint has bombed in the parking lot and had to put my phone away. My T-Mobile device yet slow is holding up well given the amount of people. Social media works and loading webpages. As a whole Sprint has issues in the city but that could be due to the topography of the city cause it is indeed hilly. I wouldn’t rule Sprint as completely bad. I do feel like densifying the city will do wonders. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. This is a cool looking Sprint small cell. Nice and compact. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Why wasn’t there a break up fee? Combining Sprint and T-Mobile has its perks network wise but I think these two can stand on their own. I think Son just wants Sprint off his hands period. With 5G rolling around I think Sprint is in the best position. I do feel like Sprint will be the smaller carrier coverage wise if not allowed to merge. For most people that’s totally ok as long as their service works where they live. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. According to Reddit T-Mobile is capping data roaming in Mexico and Canada at 5gb and then slowing you down to 2g speeds. Some people are going off about it. What I find surprising is the loyalist are bringing up how Sprint is not capping. Why is it that any change that T-Mobile makes the hardcore fans cannot handle it. The first they yell out is tweet John and tell him you don’t like it or re-carrier. I think a lot of them forgot T-Mobile did these type of perks to get people through the doors to sign up and stay with the service. T-Mobile is leveling out and there’s going to be more changes ahead with or without Sprint. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I could have sworn that John said that their customers can keep their plan for life. But I agree tmobile will come out with new plans to get all their users to covert over to them. As far as Sprint they will let them keep their plans until they upgrade their device or for a year.
  13. Prices are definitely going up. The biggest question is for Sprint customers. Will they be allowed to keep their plans or will they be converted over to TMO One. Current T-Mobile customers won’t have anything to worry about on the plan side.
  14. I hear you on that I feel the same way. But honestly we all saw this coming. Son wants to merge Sprint and we had a few years to mentally prepare for this. With the current state of the network and the minimum improvements we’ve seen, is it really enough that screams I’m going it on my own as a carrier? To me it looks like hey I’m just doing enough to maintain until we get scooped up. Sprint is not getting droves of people switching. Hell they’ve been giving away the service for free that lasts for a year. If that doesn’t tell you that Sprint has given up I don’t know what does. The brand as a whole is weak and just never recovered fully. It’s a sad reality because we know that Sprint has the toolbox to bring serious competition. I hope no one takes this post as being anti Sprint but more so as a small retrospective that the writing was on the wall that Sprint was going to be folded into another company at some point.
  15. Will this site ever come back to tapatalk?
  16. I had some bumps at first with my MB but now it seems as though it has settled on the network. My speeds do vary though. i get anywhere from 14 down to 60 down. Either way, its a vast improvement from getting 10x10 b25 in my apartment. Best part this box didn't even impact my electric bill but by a few cents.
  17. 29 AA row 3. Those seats were on the same side as the tower dorms.
  18. just leaving the OSU game with 106k people in attendance, overall Sprint did ok. Didn’t lose signaly iPhone 7 was stuck on b25 with 1 mbps. I was able to send and receive texts and iMessages with no issues. Loading webpages was a drag but eventually loaded.
  19. I plugged it back in and speeds dropped but not to be below 1mbps like before. CINR was 8.3 and it was still connected to B41. Maybe the tower it is pulling from is at a distance. That would be my guess.
  20. no issues with connecting to my MB after the update.
  21. hmm. weeks away...ok. I'll believe it when the announcement drops. Hey look on the brighter side, you'll get "free" stuff. With something of this size merging, I wonder how much spectrum Sprint will have to divest. Hell I would even say some of that 600 may have to go bye. If they do actually merge all I want is be to able to keep my UF plan.
