    So you think they only did a 5x5 config for WiMax? As for LTE Advanced on Clearwire, I know for sure from what I've read here and elsewhere on the internet, they are planning for a 20x20 config for LTE, and if they do more than that, and eventually expand into Pahrump, I will be one very happy camper.

    When Clearwire rolls out LTE they will do so better than they did with WiMax. With all the protection sites they were in a major hurry to finish, and I think they sometimes got a little sloppy even with full deployment. Also, I think Clearwire also only rolled out WiMax in a 10x10 config, and LTE should probably be in a 20x20 config, which makes for even greater data speeds. I know that with Sprint pumping in so much money to fund the LTE upgrade, they will make sure that Clearwire does it right this time.

    The at&t iPhone will be easy as all they have to do is add LTE compatibility, and the same for the Verizon one. As for the Sprint one, there might or might not be LTE 800 compatibility, and maybe by freak chance LTE 2500/2600 for Clearwire. And from what I understand, all over the world will be different bands of LTE, thereby making this all the more confusing. The only thing common between all iPhones could be the GSM/EDGE/W-CDMA quad-band compatibility that is seen in the iPhone 4S. My head is spinning from the confusion. :puke:

    Thank you, but I haven't brought that much knowledge to this site. Most of what I have brought was personal questions and actual experiences in my usage of cell phones over the last 10 years. Unless you were talking about Eric's comment above mine that I was quoting.
