Noticed today that the 5G Standalone toggle in iOS 18.2 developer beta is grayed out on T-Mobile. No idea if this is a permanent change or not but to me this signals confidence in their 5G network. I'm at a point now where I'm getting faster upload and download speeds on standalone than on non-standalone anyway so I think this is a long time coming.

  My fastest speed test in a 40+40MHz area. This is gNB 1372463. When it was first built it was at 140MHz and gave me over 1Gbps but switched to 80MHz last October. Still plenty fast though.

  Tell me about it. The reason I'm hesitant to completely believe the icon issue is fixed is because they reported the band issue was fixed too, and it clearly was not..

  Now if we could ever get them to fix the damn band issue, so you don't need layers upon layers of workarounds.
