I'm not surprised they're trying to make it more appealing for the FCC and the government to approve the merger.

I like this deal. It would give Sprint some higher FDD carriers and T-Mobile B41 likely

Doesn't even that have to be approved by the FCC?

I think it does. If it hasn't already they signed it back in September

Well if that's the case then if it hasn't been signed then I don't know what else to really say. I also have the Galaxy note 9. So if that happens I could take advantage of both Networks.

You would have to have sim card from both carriers. Under this the 2 are still separate companies.

The SD card tray also has the Sim slot as well for the second Sim

That's why it's so big? Is that the same for my S8?

I'm not too sure. Check it out though. Look at the SD slot. It may or may not I do not know for sure.

    • Interesting, T-Mobile is demolishing a Sprint B25-only site that even Sprint wasn't using anymore. Sprint moved from that pole to a former Clearwire site on a nearby much taller mast but never demolished this original site. Up through 2021, there was still power to this site. Some time during COVID, the lights on the RRUs were no longer lit.  https://permitsearch.mybuildingpermit.com/PermitDetails/ENR24-01067/Kirkland Streetview
    • I noticed that on my Boost line. I ended up mapping some 2G on Cellmapper because of that lol. Looked like it would connect to T-Mobile 2G for a bit and then disconnect and show no signal. Thankfully it's back up and running.

    • Service just restored in Columbus Ohio on AT&T network.  They seemed to do it in the following order: business (done early) then 5g hours later then ADSL and 4g about 4 hours after business. Then texting and wifi calling that was not setup before. At one point they were trying to route calls on T-Mobile 2g, but that failed.
    • Nationwide AT&T outage occurring right now affecting all of their brands, MVNOs, and even FirstNet. Although this kind of outage is rare, I bet Verizon and T-Mobile are both gonna try to use this to pull First Responders to their network or at least consider them for backup services. https://www.theverge.com/2024/2/22/24079910/att-network-outage-sos-mode
