Interesting article. AT&T has filed with the FCC to hold DISH to certain conditions similar to LS2 in building out its network. It appears AT&T would want the FCC to require a fast roll out of it's network if a waiver is approved. in another article, DISH counters that equipment for its spectrum would not be available until 2013.

 

Not a good way to start a relationship if AT&T is serious about buying DISH. One thing about Charlie Ergan, he likes to play hard ball. He would nix any type of AT&T deal or make it so expensive that the T-Mo merger would seem cheap.
