  1. Something like 5 Nvidia Shield tablets batteries swelled up (I don't think they exploded like the Note 7 did, but got hot and caused some burns) and Nvidia did a full recall on them. 80,000 tablets. Few weeks later they pushed an update to brick the units.

Wrong. Shield is a voluntary recall. They brick the old one after you activate the new one.
  2. Yes, your contract will go away. You are essentially tied to your phone with a lease contract now, but it lets you upgrade a year early. As far as the $15 bill credit, see the following link. Every month when my month will renew, I have -$15 bill due until my actual bill gets finalized, then it's 143 something after taxes for 2 Sero lines, 1 leasing (64 gb 6s) and 1 still on subsidy. We actually only pay $4.73 I think extra a month to lease my wife's phone.

    Hope this helps.

That PDF doesn't show sero 500 but looks interesting... Really phone prices are dropping so fast now buying outright is not a big deal if you can wait a couple months after release.
  3. Sero customers get a $15 bill credit if you lease or use easy pay, so its about a wash vs. subsidy.

So Sprint is pushing me to "early upgrade" into a lease / easy pay. If I did this would my 1 yr contract go away, and how does one go about getting this bill credit? On sero of course. The email does not mention a credit and is unclear about my remaining contract.

  4. Nothing yet... really doesn't seem much different then Lollipop except you can now adjust the quick settings menu and merge the sd card with internal.  If you like to tweak things xposed works pretty well on MM as does the new layers compatibility. Root and TWRP are both good to go as well.

  5. Just got my mxp yesterday and updated to marshmallow. I checked debug and it is still showing incorrect band info, looks to be exactly the same as what is posted here already. Any Qs about MM or MM install let me know. Nice phone overall kind of surprised its not more popular.

  6. The thing about AT&T is that it is getting highly variable by market. My region is great (except Sioux Falls), and AT&T often out performs Verizon here. Even with a 10x10 and 5x5 over VZW's 10x10 and 15x15. However, the places I travel are a mixed bag. Some places are still good, some places are fair. But Denver is God awful for AT&T. Like Sprint circa 2012/2013.

I'm looking at at&t for better mountain coverage... How is their service in Loveland / ft Collins area? I try to stay away from Denver as much as possible. Also I assume the mvno (go phone) route is not a good idea since they use a lot of 3rd party coverage out here.

I have been pretty happy with sprint since moving back to Co but I am in the mountains a lot and any improvement there would be nice.
