Site update, the Pickerington site on Longview Street is no longer on the water tower but literally on a new tower ON Longview St.
Wow that's ugly.

I plan to locked this thread and unlock the other about 8AM Eastern for anyone wondering.

You all aren't last to the party. Note series is.While it's tempting to run B41 into the ground with SpeedTests, let's all act like we've been there before. There are many other users on those towers who bravely blazed a trail so that we, the last to the party, have capacity to look at pictures of cats, videos of consenting adults in compromising situations, and of course, this fine web site.
Damn Apple fans taking credit for even the bad parts too. [emoji6]

Good looks buddy!
Looks like NE is out of stock on the RT-N66R: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320154R
That was the best deal. But you can still pick it up for about $100 if you want it in white to match your modem: http://www.amazon.com/RT-N66U-Dual-Band-Wireless-N900-Gigabit-Router/dp/B006QB1RPY/ref=sr_1_1?m=A2L77EE7U53NWQ&s=merchant&ie=UTF8&qid=undefined&sr=1-1&keywords=RT-N68
Here is the best deal on the modem right now: http://www.amazon.com/ARRIS-Motorola-SurfBoard-SB6141-DOCSIS/dp/B00AJHDZSI/ref=sr_1_1?m=A2L77EE7U53NWQ&s=merchant&ie=UTF8&qid=1411074006&sr=1-1&keywords=SB6141

Give me a little while and I'll get you taken care of.Alright, I'm not going to make the jump just yet, but I don't see the RT-N66 for $80, shows $100 after rebate here.
-
Please don't spend that much for either. You can get a RT-N66 for $80 on New Egg and the SB6141 was just $68 on Woot yesterday.Alright, that could work.
Checking Amazon, the N66 goes for $130, and the SB6141 goes for $88.

Any particular ASUS router you would recommend? Something that wouldn't break the bank? I'm in an 800 sqft apartment.
Question is more of do you want N or AC. I recommend RT-N66U or RT-N66R which are always on sale. Runs Shibby Tomato and is the best in my opinion as I truly have no need for AC at this time and you never buy "future proof" routers.Budget?

Actually, Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite has not been released yet. Maybe we should create a separate thread?

Service credits for renewing your contract has been around for years. They're even available in store (they were when I worked for Sprint in 2009). Certain customers are available for multiple options when it comes to credits once they're out of contract.
Options were:
- One month free
- $75 Credit (Sometimes per line)
- $35 Credit
There were more options but I don't remember everything from 5+ years ago.

Adjusted title.
As stated above, My Way Unlimited still exist at this time:

I had to add the MO...because in a Columbus thread, I wouldn't want people to think I was saying Springfield Ohio. Someone might take offense.
Not too much of a difference in the two.

It's not over yet. The B26 and B41 additions should make it a stellar network in Columbus.Didn't think this day would ever come.[emoji23]

I'm not gonna lie, I'll probably be about as happy as the OP when they finally upgrade our site in Shepherdsville KY. Windstream ran fiber back in February of '13 and it has yet to be touched.
We have quite a few of these in Columbus that we're keeping an eye on for conversions.

You're joking by starting a new thread for this right?

HD calling has been active for a while in Columbus. You just have to have a capable phone.
