I got a good look at the conway tower today. Its done but not on yet. There is a monster bird nest on top of it.

Looks like on sensorly there is a tower live in lake Nona. That must be where OIA is getting the lte signal.

I see it on sensorly. There must be a new tower somewhere and not a distant site because the shade of purple is pretty good.

Probably inaccurate because there is a complete tower in daytona. Its not on yet from other reasons. Sprint isn't waiting exactly for December to say oh its December let's turn the towers on lol. They tell you December so you don't get your hopes up but in reality its way before December you should see lte.

I wonder if a lot of the other complete but not active towers will come on at that time as well. Thanks for the info.

There is a tower on Conway near the airport that may give it LTE (but i don't know if it will be strong inside the airport because of the distance), it is reportedly complete along with a few other Orlando market towers but they haven't been turned on yet for unknown reasons. Also there is a tower that is in front of sweet tomatoes on colonial near fashion square that has the sprint LTE panels up but i don't think its complete.

Yeah that tower will be under serious use. More so than the Avalon tower. Will be interesting seeing what the speeds will fall too under heavy use.

No. The dean and curry ford tower does not have a birds nest. Goldenrod and curry ford has the birds nest.

Yes, dean and curry ford has been done as well as the Christmas tower and the Daytona tower. I wonder if they will all go on at the same time. They all are reportedly completed but not active. Ive seen the tower on curry ford and goldenrod and it has a birds nest on top so that tower has no chance of being upgraded anytime soon.

Network Vision/LTE - Raleigh/Durham Market (includes Fayetteville)
samer21 replied to spotmeterf64's topic in Markets
They don't throttle the speed i think. It just gets congested when more people connect to the tower so naturally the speeds decrease but since every tower is being upgraded, speeds shouldn't decrease too much, anything over 10mbps is more than enough for fast internet on a phone try this thread http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/2026-network-visionlte-raleighdurham-market-includes-fayetteville/ -
good info. orlando has been a bit slow compared to tampa area. I wonder if this is the case for a lot of the towers in orlando.

I have driven down 417 and lakemary and with my note 2 there was no lte. If there was its going to be very weak because its probably coming from the oviedo tower since its so huge.

4G on dean isn't much unless you go past university then the aloma tower kicks in. Alafaya down to avalon entrance is slow 4G since its far from the tower but its there. 4G is very fast inside avalon. 4G on curry ford and dean is not on yet, when that tower gets upgraded, there will be huge differences in the area, it will probably cover some alafaya and a lot of curry ford up to before goldenrod i would say since its such a huge tower.
