Are you asking about upgrades or more towers to improve coverage?
-
Are you sure you got the Pro version?I downloaded signal check pro but i dont see were it says what band....ex.800 1900 spark ..
-
It has always been this way, I never thought much about it until others started reporting the same. It really doesn't bother me but I will share what I can if it helps

I have used WiFi calling on my S5 since I got it in July and when connected to my WiFi at home it always shows a - 120 evdo connection on scp even though I'm not really connected to anything but WiFi.
-
My experience with WiFi calling has been excellent since I got my S5 back in July. It will nag you though each time you connect to a new WiFi connection
-
Well they haven't fired it up yet I just wondered. I will check some more towers in the area

Yea I saw I was connected to band 41 on the engineering screen but I didn't see it on signal check pro
-
My S5 will not show band 41. As far as I know it's up to date.

Sprint prefers us cellular in this area but if it's not available it will pick Verizon

I'm on a 3 year old unlimited data family plan that I ditched big red for. I just renewed my contract and Sprint has not made any attempt to get me off this plan.

Lol never mind I see it in my own screen shot...... GPS only.... Sorry

Check your location settings in your device's Settings menu -- not within SignalCheck itself. Make sure that the option to determine your location using mobile networks (it's usually separate from the GPS option) is enabled.

Does this look right?
-
Yes Running Kit Kat and location services on. I didn't know if it could be something on Sprints end since I haven't changed any settings that I know of
-
This is all I see now for some reason

I haven't updated my SCP yet but for the last few day's I'm not getting and info from the tower on 1x for example it does not show the address or sector info any more. Works fine on LTE though.....

I noticed I couldn't connect from my phone on wifi early this morning so I turned off my wifi and connected through Sprint and still couldn't connect to S4GRU so I assume Sprint might be using Comcast for backhaul here
-
I sure hope so. They already got a lot of towers around Knoxville broadcasting band 26

My last speed test on Comcast was over 100 megs down and 30 up.

WiFi calling has solved the problem for me. Saves battery life too

Band 26 inside Denso Maryville E&D building. I like it

I was referring to 800 smr which has been launched in most cases either before or with band 26 LTE. That was all I was getting at. I figured if they went back through the trouble of turning on band 26 at a site it would also have 800 smr turned on also.......sorry for the confusion

I was in Cincinnati in December for the Bronco's Bengals football game. I tried to use the Stadium WIFI but it was horrible, Sprints LTE was overloaded but was still better than the WIFI. I'm sure different stadiums will have different results
